I would not put too much value on Painful Truths. I think it's already near its top value at 3$ for its run in standard. Once KTK rotates out with its fetchlands, decks that run 3+ colors should no longer be the norm, especially since colorless is a "color" of its own with OGW. Read The Bones is better in 90% of cases in 1-2 color decks, only moderately weaker in a 3 color deck, is a common and is still with us in Innistrad.
There may be some value in the long run, due to Modern, but cheap alternatives are plentiful.

Jan 16, 2016SpinifexV posted a message on The Magic Market Index: Set Review of Oath of the GatewatchI agree with the list on all but one count: Vile Redeemer. In a GB self sacrifice deck or a rally/aristocrat deck, it can mean getting a lot more tokens to sacrifice at instant speed. It's not an all star, but I could see it going to 1-2$ if he shows up in such a deck.Posted in: Articles

So, my guess is for Adventure: "You may cast an Adventure ability once per turn if you have attacked with a creature this turn". It's my best bet: it may be some other kind of triggered ability though.
EDIT: Or it may be "As an additional cost to casting an Adventure spell, exile the creature it is printed on. That creature comes back into play at the start of your next turn."
It finished #2 at SCG IQ Modern New Holland and it looks grindy as hell! Just my kind of Midrange deck.
Here is the list for reference:
4 Lightning Skelemental
2 Monastery Mentor
4 Seasoned Pyromancer
2 Young Pyromancer
Lands (20)
2 Mountain
1 Plains
1 Swamp
2 Arid Mesa
4 Blackcleave Cliffs
2 Blood Crypt
4 Bloodstained Mire
1 Godless Shrine
2 Marsh Flats
1 Sacred Foundry
4 Lightning Bolt
4 Path to Exile
4 Faithless Looting
4 Inquisition of Kozilek
4 Smiting Helix
4 Thoughtseize
4 Unearth
2 Fulminator Mage
2 Plague Engineer
4 Leyline of the Void
1 Celestial Purge
2 Wear // Tear
2 Kambal, Consul of Allocation
2 Chandra, Torch of Defiance
Where would they be reprinted? I would hold for $40/each. The price on Goldfish is 50$/each atm.
If the London Mulligan rule becomes official, they risk increasing in value, and they are very low supply.
Not without any way to pump its power. It might be playable in Modern, but it needs suspend cards.
A popular theory on reddit is that "The Wanderer" might be linked to Emrakul (or Emeria), based on the story you quoted and on her resemblance to the Emeria statue on Shrine of the Forsaken Gods.
Well, he only sees play in one of the 3 main GBx versions: GB Rock. Jund never runs him (prefering BBE) and Abzan has a choice between Kalitas and Anafenza. Plus, he was in Oath of the Gatewatch, a set with the powerful Eldrazis (Thought-Knot Seer, Eldrazi Mimic, Matter Reshaper, Reality Smasher) Oath of Nissa, AND Expeditions, so a lot of the value was captured by other cards.
We will have to see, but they would need a lot of answers as well: most would probably need to turn into creatures to attack to prevent board stalls, Dreadbore/Hero's Downfall/a ton of burn...
I shouldn't have sold off my Immortal Suns...
Yes, he posted an article, though it is premium on SCG. It is behind a paywall, but it will be accessible for everyone eventually: http://www.starcitygames.com/articles/38309_How-I-Went-16-0-With-Mono-Red-Phoenix-At-SCG-Baltimore.html
Someone also took another version of mono red Phoenix to a win at GO Toronto PTQ and wrote an article about it. Notably, he replaced Skewer the Critics with Forked Bolt: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1-U51SJpjz2qIPuOApmyXJalpxaybfTbsXmHv7Dsv_6g/mobilebasic
Light Up the Stage and Skewer the Critics really pushed mono red.
There are several upsides. Sometimes, your Goyfs and Oozes can survive Languish, it can hit indestructible creatures or creatures with regeneration (not played a lot right not, but Thrun and Hazoret have seen play), Meddling Mage can only name one of your two sweepers, and UW Spirits does run 3-4 Selfless Spirits. It also costs a lot less than Damnation.
It makes sense to run 1 copy each of Damnation and Languish if you run two sweepers.
This is not the place to ask. Check for the correct threads to ask for information.
With the Ixalan flipping enchantments, I thought we would have been in Theros right now. The only hint I've seen of a possible return to Theros is the inclusion of Elspeth in the GRN Masterpiece edition.
Then, there is also the rumored Viking set. If there is a place where they could make the names of the Scars Fastlands work, apart from New Phyrexia, is a Viking world (Coast, Cliffs, Shores, Gorge and Thicket all sound like Scandinavia to me).
