Do you remember If I was the guy you played round one? (same user name on MTGO). I won a game with double diabolist, and my opponent had world queller, and sphinx, duelist, machette. Small world if it was me that you pwnd on. Otherwise, W aggro is definatley a viable archtype.
I was getting good blue to start with. P1P1 was a burst lightning. That was my only red card pack one. I got a late halo hunter, and was thinking that I would go U/Br. Didn't get much good black for the rest of pack one, a murauder and maybe two other playables. P2P1 was a second burst lightning over a disfigure. P2P2 was the hideous end over inferno trap. I guess I wanted more out of my black that just a halo hunter and some random dudes. My logic was that hideous end kills something with 5+ toughness. Also, I was still thinking that red was going to be a minor splash, and figured keep it to two cards.
It all worked out, though red started flowing and I picked up a ton of black pack three. Ended up with a very solid R/B and won the draft.
Eternity vessel? If I play lacerator early, Isn't that anti-synergy? My black is pretty good, but there doesn't seem to be any late game. Do I rely on the Nighthawk and pumped Guul Draz for the win?
My friend and I did a two player sealed. Do you agree with my build? I was only able to get two games, as he lost two in a row and didn't want to play any more games.
I got a foil pledge in the same pack as Iona, so that was pretty cool. I wanted to play black, but red had more removal, and I wanted to play blue for the Sphinx.
I can confirm that packs were being sold at a local store as early as yesterday. Not sure what store, as my friend didn't want them getting in trouble. He said it was a small time dealer, so it is possible that they did not know.
Lacerator. I went B/g in my sealed because while vamps dominate the early game, the really struggle mid-game. In my draft I went B/u and grabbed 3 windrider eel and a living tsunami. Lacerator was just fine for me all day. We need our splash to be our fat, basically.
I think in real life, after first picking a nighthawk, I would snach the hexmage. Here, I think I was conditioned by all of the people saying raptor. I see why you would take it, but my instinct would be to follow a double black with another double black.
I had 8 or 9 vamps in my draft deck and feast of blood was awesome.
On topic, picking the raptor makes those late pack sell-swords we may see even jucier. Would seeing a hexmage and the other black cards in this pack make you want to switch to black? We can cut any more good black that comes around, no?
All the disfigures are nice and all, but four grim discovery? Are four refuges and two tap lands too many? Ideally you want your first couple land drops to be untapped for an EoT disfigure. Sure your removal is nice but you don't have the creature support.
My bad. I ended up with three between my sealed and a side draft, so I guess that skewed my perception. Both decks I had in the pre-re were Bx aggro. Black seemed to lack a mid/late game strat. I had to run green or blue for my fat. I would be happy in BU.
I got 95% with 4 lacerators double nighthawk and double journey to nowhere. A few kor and a couple giant scorpions. I think it values black way more than red, because I drafted what I thought was a pretty sick red deck last night (p1p1 Chandra, multiple burn spells/ geopede and torch tossers) and got around 60%.
I figured that burst was a little better in that you have the option to kick it, or deal direct damage for the final push.

I had just picked my second burst lightning over a disfigure.(P2P1)
I already had a Halo hunter.
