I like the deck you put together. The Young Pyromancer seems like a good play,
what about a Goblin Fireslinger for a potential switch?
What about running a Vendilion Clique main deck, I like the flashing?
Here's What I'm thinking.
I have the delvers and all the basic mana leaks/cancel/force spikes. I can get nimble mongoose, and dark confidant, maybe add deathrite shaman in stead of gofys for now? I am working on a basic playable set of lands, ill probably go ravnica for costs. i do have a couple underground seas though. no wastelands.
What are the basics for this deck?

again, 100% agree will all. obviously kytheons. but if it was an infinite oblivion, i'd definitely go for the hartebeest. i like the double effect. while the maulers, or any renown 2 green from this set, is pretty fun when playing green white beaters.
i appreciate your invocation over freeblade choice, but i am going to have to disagree with you. I don't like getting stuck playing green, so i'm a little biased. but i would rather have the 2 mana white 2/2 than a 6 mana card in my hand waiting to get played. If i was behind in a draft, what would be a better top deck.
for me that usually pushes creatures over spells, removal over creatures.
I really like the merfolk and gw beats. I mean, if we're counting goyf as a budget 4 of, theres gotta be a way to make a budget delver bug or rug. the land base might be the big expense here...
goblins are an easy budget if you have the right build.
even slivers can be a decent budget if you skip the expensive bombs and go for synergy.
What was the similar creature from the mirrodin block?
:xmana::xmana: was a terrible plan for origins.
even :2mana::xmana: would've at least been a semi bomb.
theres gotta still be a play with cards like slitherhead?
and drop it on an unblockable infect for the win?
Pack 1- Patron of the Valiant is the best pick. I find iroas's champion to be a tricky card to deal with.
Pack 2- dwynen, gilt-leaf daen is an easy pick 2. however, if you had already strong white i would pick the tropan freeblade
pack 3- Unholy hunger, followed by shadows of the past.
pack 4- War Oracle first, then Claustrophobia.
White is so much better than any other color in the format in terms of sheer card quality at common and uncommon that I'm going to have to go with some sort of pair involving white. Between the other colors, red probably has the most efficient creatures and ways to push through renowned guys, so my early pick for best color pair is W/R. I believe each color pair has a common theme (GB elves, WR token dudes, etc), but overall card quality and synergy probably goes to RW.
Good call with White first. if i'm trying to go small aggro, i pick White/red. Large aggro, green/white.
I've seen white black do well, as well as blue black. I would say that synergy is more important than what you pick.
