    Thanks so much! I will be working on revisiting some of my earlier explanations and expanding my list.

    Right now I'm working on providing a better explanation on the draw - 7 in the cube and how to effectively build your deck/ curve to full take advantage of these effects in a limited environment.

    Definitely Soul Shatter > Eat to Extinction. Soul Shatter is IMO the best Hero's downfall option

    Court of Ire needs to be tested. My inclination is Court of Ire is stronger than Frenzy.

    - Frenzy is an incredibly strong build around for red aggro/ artifact Mud decks. Any deck with lower curve/ high mana is good for frenzy. I might bring this card back - but I cut it because of all the draw 7s already in the cube.
    - Court of Ire seems to be at its best in red based midrange/ wildfire decks. Losing Monarchy isn't the worst - being able to shoot 2 damage per turn is a pretty good - even if it comes at the expense of a card.

    I'm not a fan of either Dream Eater/ Frost Titan. I would give it to the titan for its 6/6 body.

    Glint-Sleeve unless you have an enchantment package.

    I actually want to make a general comment about red two drops:

    Gore-House Chainwalker is what I use as the baseline - 2 mana for 3 power. Single Red, splashable in any aggro/ spells matter deck. Very stable - does not require additional land drop, does not opponent to have spells in graveyard, no double red requirement, no requirement for additional instant/ sorceries/ no requirements for bloodthirst etc.

    The consensus in this forum (for both constructed and limited) is the strength of red based aggro deck is more based off the number of relevant aggro cards drafted and less on the quality of the creatures themselves.

    I find if you're not sure which creatures to play, I would just play a few more vanilla aggro two drops like:

    Robber of the Rich
    Gore-House Chainwalker

    These two cards are a stable two drop that could fit into a lot of decks. Sure they may not be the best, but they do a decent job.

    Fiend Hunter has some application in a flicker based deck where you can stack the ETB flicker trigger on top the exile - giving you a two for 1.

    Blackblade is a very resilient card in aggro decks .. If I have to pick, I would cut Blackblade as he feels a bit more narrow as Hunter/ Skyclave are more flexible in archetypes

    Have you actually played with/against the card in cube or are you just speculating? I was pretty skeptical, but the card has played far better than it looks. Ambushing attackers in green is surprising, making sorcery-proof Order fodder, works well in Ambusher flash shells, and it gets silly out of control when you have an army of critters at your disposal. I thought it was gonna be butt, but it's surprisingly versatile.

    Well I have a policy with cube cards and its very simple: If white wolf recommends it, its prob pretty good. I'll give it a try next time.

    I want to thank you for collecting these results.

    Luminarch Aspirant - this has been a surprisingly strong card - especially given how she can add +1/+1 the turn she comes out and additional +1/+1 the turn she attacks (essentially a baseline 3/3 for 2) which is incredibly strong. She's the exact type of card white decks in cube are looking for - help pump early drops, help with board stalls, help with +1/+1 synergies, and most importantly adds decisions to mono white.

    Roil Eruption - feels like an incredibly underwhelming card and I really would put Lightning Strike as the baseline for red burn. I recommend playing stuff like Roast or Magmatic Sinkhole - but this is prob more of a preference as an Modern/ Legacy Twin player where the 5 damage out of red was invaluable.

    Deliberate/ Hagra Mauling - feels way too overpriced.

    Nighthawk Scavenger - I have a preference to avoid vanilla style creatures.

    Soul Shatter - This is actually an incredibly strong card. Generally the highest CMC is what you would like to remove anyways - but it also nabs Blightsteel Colossus.

    Its really great to hear that people are reading this. I'll be working on this over the holiday quarantine to add 20-30 cards to this list.

    I will definitely cover Balance, Upheaval and Mishra's Workshop. I'm also planning to find some sample deck lists with the namesakes to help the explanations and I'll add some numbers of mana consistency and curve for some of the relevant cards.

    I've been learning a lot about these archetypes and cards myself while writing these articles - I've actually using my own guide when drafting the melira/ aristocrats combo to determine which color combinations I should be in.

    Hey. I think its great that people are experimenting in cube.

    Cadaverous Bloom and Squandered Resources are both cards I've thought about before, but I just feel they're a bit too narrow and there a slightly stronger alternatives.

    For Squandered Resource:

    Rain of Filth
    mana seism
    Lake of the Dead

    These cards are a slightly better improvement over Squandered Resource. I've thought about playing a 1 off Rain of Filth and Lake of the Dead before to help with the storm/ reanimator decks but eventually dropped these two as I realized the fast mana for cube is already sufficient and if I really wanted to push storm +1 Grim Tutor was the better option to go.

    For Cadaverous Bloom:

    This is an interesting card and I was looking for a second card to supplement Dream Halls - a card I really like. However, being in Black-Green is already a problem - you really need to be a blue deck to be able to fully use these cards.

    Fortunately, there are several similar effects:

    Wilderness Reclamation - Good for X spells - Nexus of Fate
    Dictate of Karametra - good for Blue-Green Hide Tide/ Hyper Ramp

    I've been really wanting a Yawgmoth's Bargain/ Necropotenance in my cube for a while ... but the problem is just does worse than the new blue draw 7. (Echoes of Econs, Commit - Memory)

    I might bring yawgmoth;s bargain back as a payoff for black-white lifegain.

    I actually want to reopen this thread. I don't think we need a full blown lifegain soul sister's style archetype, but I like the idea adding a few more lifegain payoffs:

    Already in cube:
    - Bolas Citidal
    - Sylvan Library
    - Dark Confidant
    - Heliod, Sun Crowned
    - Archangel of Thrune
    - Birthing Pod

    Could potentially add:
    - Necropotence
    - Ajani's pridemage
    - Ajani, Strength of the Pride
    - Lone Rider

    I think the cube naturally has enough rate cards that incidentally would gain life. I don't like the soul sister's direction - that is too parasitic and could be too oppressive to burn.

    Draw Denial is becoming a more important archetype in cube right now - both with the notion thief/ narset variants but also to hold back the Monarch.

    I have to think more about the humans archetype - I don't feel the payoffs are really worth it and its relatively parasitic.
