This art reminds me of another card, some green card, but I cant remember what it is but the pose and chick look very similar! Some elf sitting in the woods or something.
Now that we’ve seen all the ninjas (maybe), what is this new plane like?Definitely Euro-inspired.
Looking at the Art it looks like a plane that takes inspiration both from the far east and early colonization era western Europe. There are definitely influences of both in the building styles and the decor. I am thinking late 15th century/early 16th century. It definitely has a clear mercantile vibe, and in such an era, where international trade routes were blossoming, Ninjas fit right in.
Has anyone else looked at the art and seen that this might prove that Marit Lage is an Eldrazi-like being, if not an eldrazi. Look at this art and tell me what you think.
Marit Lage has been in the game since Ice Age, and was intended to be a Lovecraft-inspired Cthulhu-type being. The Eldrazi came much later in MtG's development, and were also Lovecraft-Inspired Elder God type beings. Mart Lage is not an Eldrazi, she just bears similarities due to the common thread of influence. Canon-wise, they do have many similarities, and it's possible that down the road she will be retconned as an Eldrazi. An important distinction between the two is that Lage is female, while the Eldrazi have no gender.
Eldrazi titans do. Emrakul is 100% female, I am not sure about English, but it was confirmed at other languages.
Also, Marit Lage can planeswalk without being a planeswalker just like Eldrazi titans do.
People feeling uncomfortable about trivial things may be the reason why we (almost) can't have such things anymore.
So... Fiora?

"Charming" is fine, too.
Looks like I see the Lonely Sandbar here. Would be nice.
