So Ive been updating my cube with the latest set, and also realized my graveyard value deck was missing a pay off apart from reanimation. I added in Worm Harvest and Darkblast as suggested in the graveyard value thread, then noticed that my cube contained quite a lot of token generators. How do you guys keep a check on that? (Im going to look into replacing quite a few cards like Cenn's Enlistment)

Hey guys, been away for a long time, trying to catch up with all the updates. I've also been trying to look for the This or That thread, but it seems to have gone?
Any help on these decisions would be awesome (and I've noticed cubetutor is down as well):
The decision for these 2 cards are for the Ramp and Reanimator archetypes in my cube. Greenseeker is good at thinning the deck, where as Llanowar Mentor works in token strategies and there is a minor elf synergy in my cube. As for Krosan Tusker, the benefit is to be able to cycle it early, where as Howling Giant comes as an army (and I'm not running Trostani's Summoner)
Hey guys, I'm looking rejuvenate my cube, and give it the option to expand into 360 (running 180 at the moment). I was curious to what were your ratios/percentages of each color's creature and non creature spells. Example would be: Green 60-70% creatures and Blue 40% creatures. I find that at Peasant, a lot of the better spells are tacked on to creatures, such as Flickerwisp over Cloudshift.
I havent been on the forum for a while and nor have I cubed, but I did depower my removal in my cube to help out 2 archetypes, reanimator and ramp. Before the reanimator deck would set up its fatty to enter, and then simply lose to a 1 or 2 mana kill spell. This was a huge tempo loss, so I had to up the cost for clean removal (go for the throat changed to murder) in order to give the deck legs.
btw Bacchus2, in the Black section of 1CC creatures, you have a few 2CC creatures in that section. Just been catching up on all of what you had posted earlier
Ok, I know this may have been asked like a million times, but I'd love to know about each of YOUR Simic sections in your cubes. My one is currently ramp (basically non existent, unless the drafter splashes Black for Reanimator, or White for a Blink Value archetype), and I'm considering shuffling over to flash or Pants.
Take these points lightly as I havent fully gone through all of them yet.
- Ban Loxodon Warhammer
- Watch out for powerful cards in multiples. Armadillo Cloak can snowball pretty quickly as well.
- I feel that each cube should have a maximum of 1 planeswalker only. The other rares in.the cube should be archetype defining.
Oh hells that control deck has all the pieces its needed. Btw I see you are playing Rhonas's Monument, do you consider it as an artifact in general, or part of greens color?
Hey guys, Im preparing for nationals, and taking along RG Pummeler. I manage to win gameday with it, and im comfortable with aggro-combo decks in general (I own Affinity and old Suicide Zoo in modern, Elves in Legacy). Im here to ask on how I should build my sideboard and on the flex slots in my mainboard.
I do feel that I will face quite a few tiered decks, including control. Im not sure how much help Prowling Serpopard would be in that matchup. Also I do feel a 2nd Aethersphere harvester should be used, and perhaps mainboarded in place of Larger than Life. And what are your thoughts on have Hashep Oasis? Do they make any difference in games?

1) Greenseeker vs Llanowar Mentor (have 3 other mana dorks)
2) Krosan Tusker vs Howling Giant (running Pelakka Wurm, Plated Crusher, Skysnare Spider, and Scaled Behemoth
