Hey guys, I'm ready for you to rip a hole and criticize my cube.
Here it is. Its a 180 Peasant Cube, for 4 players. I have it at this size because we usually only have 6 players to draft, and I wanted to be able to carry it around easily. Plus the way it plays out is a little different than most big Peasant cubes I feel. You draft it by 5 packs of 9 cards.
I like Ethersworn Canonist for tech against Storm decks and decks that try to get their with a lot of spells for turn that aren't artifact based.
I see quite a bit Blood Moon use lately and I'm a bit curious to have in my sideboard as well. What do you all think?
No Thoughtseizes? You should definitely drop Torpor Orb for Thoughtseizes (takes stony silences/board wipes/storm pieces), Dismember should be replaced by Dispatch. The slots of Spellskite/Ethersworn/Pithing Needle all depend on you meta, and are quite great cards. Those are flexible slots that can be replaced with an extra Dispatch, Blood Moon, Chalice of the Void, extra Ghirapur Aether Grid, extra grave hate. Also if you have more affinity/E-tron in your meta, look to add in 1 more Ancient Grudge.
Blood Moon is great for locking out some greedy 3 color landbases.
Isnt the Black curse the same as Curse of Shallow graves? Both put a 2/2 zombie when attacked, except Shallow graves zombie come in tapped. Am I missing something else?
I've made quite a few changes to the cube, depowering a few cards and removal. I felt this would help with the environment, as games tended to be more swingy, than grindy.
I couldnt find much information, but how is Booster tutor in peasant cubes? Is the power level of the card too high? As I run only a 180 cube, I was thinking of building packs of 9 for it from my maybeboard. Any certain way to build it, such as 1 land, 1 colorless, and some randomly selected colors?
Hehe Ive recently been doing a lot of sorting through my huge stack of commons and uncommons, and I have the ones that are cubeable, in a box. Building my maybeboard has been great and there are literally unlimited number of choices to make (barring power level shenanigans)

Recent update was to lower the power of kill spells, such as:
Shriekmaw -> Nekrataal
Ultimate Price/Go For the throat -> Murderous Cut/Murder
Also I only added these from HOU:
Fire//Ice -> Bloodwater Entity
Stonecloaker -> Sunscourge Champion
Thriving Grubs -> Burning-Fist Minotaur

For decks that run supreme verdict, hit them as fast as possible. As soon as they get 3 mana, try and hold on to 1 or 2 creatures to rebuild the board

Go for the throat -> Murder (3cmc over 2cmc and a little more black needed)
Ultimate Price -> Murderous Cut (same reason, becomes a more costly removal)
Amonkhet update:
Swords to Plowshares -> Cast Out (versatile removal, which can be cycled on early)
Village Messenger -> Bloodlust Inciter (Great for giving aggro a hasty beater)
War-name Aspirant -> Bloodrage Brawler (better stats than any red 2 drop, the discard doesn't matter much)
Shrine of Burning Rage -> Ahn-Crop Crasher (another great beater from amonkhet, red has definitely been upgraded. Shrine has inevitability,, hence it goes out)
Shrine of Loyal Legions -> Vizier of Deferment (This shrine was also quite a beating, and still aiming to trim token producers. Vizier has seen some flashy plays though)
Embodiment of Fury -> Staggershock (Red needs more burn than bodies)
Cryptolith Fragment -> Ash Barrens (straight up simple fixing)
It definitely looks like Red Aggro has got a great boost, and will have to monitor how well Control can stand up to this.
Since I run a 180 cube, cuts are harder to make, and each card needs to make an impact. Ive also nerfed some of my removal.
Ive added in:
Cast out - great all round removal with flash, which has been cycled early by some players.
Vizier of Deferment - has a great impact, as plenty of creatures have ETB abilities, can be used to save a creature/sometimes a surprise chump blocker
Bloodlust Inciter - Enables some busted aggro starts for red. Can be great to give haste to some fatties.
Bloodrage Brawler - an upgrade in power for red 2 drops, and the discard effect has not been a hindrance.
Ahn-crop crahser - This set has been good for red, and this card helps push in the last few damage for aggro cards
