and a drop2 with 2 devotion is the best.
Enchantment so difficult to remove...
cheap, devoted, dangerous, and at worst a scry every turn is still something
i would like a copy of eidolon of blossom with so many enchanments
A Devotion like Version with Enchantments can be really powerful and scary. Eidolon of Blossoms and Setessan Champion is a great card draw engine. The new Sagas Enchantments doing great value and can be cast with In Search of Greatness even you miss the right mana colour.
In this build Old-Growth Troll, if the troll is dying you draw a card - pretty neat
This is a ridiculous land combo enabler, and if anything could get lands out of your deck when you're flooded, but overall it is more powerful than people imagine.
Searches Shrine of the Forsaken Gods and Castle Garenbrig. This also allows you to run 1 of certain lands that can be Silver Bullets in certain matchups. Field of the Dead is a way to win a Matchup in a land focused Devotion Deck.
Even just paying 1GG isn't terrible or if you are flooded you can filter most of your land cards out from the deck.
Maybe Ayula's Influence is very nice with a full hand of Land cards along with Ayula, Queen Among Bears.
There are shenanigans, too. Like Gate Decks or "5 mana, search for all 3 Urza Lands" and imho there are a lot more out there.
At the moment, i would use it as a sideboard card against fliers decks like Spirits and had a close eye about brewings around/with this card.
My Choice is 1.
In Pioneer the Leyline along with the Devotion mechanic was a Tier 0 Deck and getting the first ban. It's worth to tested it in Modern as well and this time not only with Mana Dorks but as example with reanimated Lands like Nissa, Who Shakes the World. As a "free" cast we can build the whole Deck around it.
2) is nice, but maybe a bit "old fashion" . Pro tip: If you play this, use "Old Spice"
3) Genesis Wave is mostly a meme deck. if its work its great , if not - awful
4) hmmm...
If you had a good idea just do it. Its fun on its own how good/bad your ideas are working.
speaking off the wall and rogue , my last rogue devotion concept for modern:
Wiskful Selkie is the glue of this Deck. It gives a lot devotion and blue(!) Devotion for Master of Waves. If you cast him Risenreefs produce a ton of card draws and/or direct Land ramps. a real surprising exploding concept.
stacking Risen Reef's the more the better . For this reason i'm choosing copy effects.
should we use the spoiler tag for Pioneer? It's still a modern forum here.
Same question: Whisperwood Combo ?
From Channelball article in the past Standardformat about Whisperwood (!) .
Quote from "From Channelball artcile about the past Standard" »
Mono-Green Devotion seems like the most natural shell for this guy as he can come down as early as turn three, and with Nykthos you can unmorph almost anything you were to manifest. It’s also worth noting his sacrifice ability is highly relevant against the soon-to-be popular Crux of Fate.
Wow, again a big great posting.
I really want give you (hopefully) helpful critique and a reponse to your new ideas.
I'm gladly to hear that Goose is maybe the better choice as a 1 Drop as the Birds. 0/2 is really nice against the 1 Damage Pings from W6
Thanks for the analyze about Kiora's Follower. Never think that much about it. Now its very clear .
About the Jund Matchup, i'm often out valued(!) his stuff. Card-Drawing and the better End-Game doing it often to my favor. Escape to the Wilds: imho its much stronger as Harmonize . And i knew that card drawing is one of the best abilitys in Magic. In the last days i think about EttW and T&N .
The nature about T&N Deck is: "Ramping , no matter what is going on"
EttW is doing exactly that and digging the deck in the same time to cast the name sake card. That is huge deal for 1 mana more as harmonize.
A Devotion Player should use his Primal Command as his Swiss knife (and/or finish move), an T&N Player is more like: "I bet i had more ramp cards as you removals".
Causa Time Warp: Not my fetisch and i had invert already my opinion.
Llanowar Tribe is a Overgrowth on feets. With 18-21 Ramp cards there is maybe enough room for improvements/changes to unleash the Power for untapping these guys in a consistence way. Its just time to brew my first T&N Deck
@epiknoob
No, because: "...nontoken creature enters the battlefield...", sadly you didn't get benefits from this.
Search in these Thread Ghalta, Primal Hunger. With Henge you got 8 Payoff Cards to build around Power creatures.
-----------
Edit:
Just durdle around with Goldfishing and watched some Videos. Escape to the Wilds is a hell of a card.
Until the end of your NEXT turn IN a heavy RAMP Deck - think about that! Most of the time it feels like 5 extra cards. The Out of Gas Situation doesn't come and is one of the greatest weakness of T&N. On the other Hand its only slightly better as Urban Evolution , i'm really confused
Okay, that List is cool. Some thoughts from me, even i'm not an T&N Player.
But at first one more sucess for Temur Tooth and Nail from Uejgo ( Modern League 2019-10-11, (5-0) ) https://www.mtggoldfish.com/deck/2368627#paper , nearly the same as the other Temur List only with more Devotion Allstars
Gilded Goose is reasonable. Only to sacrifice a Token feels like a "One Shot". Was that ever a problem for you?
i really like Panglacial Wurm as a hidden card "in hand". And i hate it if i'm drawing it.
My problem with Escape to the Wilds that if I'm playing it, the next round should be my finsih strike, but the round if i'm played this it don't nothing impressive. For the same mana i can play Primal Command as a well known green swiss knife and i can freely search a creature and not only 5 cards deep. Escape is a good Standard card, but not strong enough for modern imho.
Uejgo is playing Time Warp even for that is at worst +1card + 1 land and at best +1 combat phase and can be for your opponent an unforseen lethal damage.
Hydroid Krasis and Voracious Hydra are great. High scaling cards that doing relevant jobs. CardDraw and Lifegaining or CreatureRemoval and on top they left a big body with evasion.
------------
Edit:
Here a sucessful build from Germany
Here is a promising prototype from me that is suprisingly explosive.
It's like Simic Devotion Elementals Combo and a very strange one, too. Risen Reef into Master of Waves get you Lands direct on the battlefield or nonlands in the hand , that you can re-invest with a bit luck in a copy of Master of Waves in the same turn. 10 damage isn't unusal with Omnath, Locus of the Roil at this moment, and after this you can copy Omnath for the next 10 damage.
You can copy Risen Reef that is at minimum 2 cards that is nice in the early game, that is still value itself.
With the devotion Wistful Selkie is the glue of this deck, and make the devotion part working.
The best of all, even you can't combo of, multiple Master of Waves kills your opponent, too.
My goldfishing test lead to a turn 4 win very often. Not bad at all and nearly every card replacing itself, so most of the time you don't run out of gas.
Beware if you have mutiple Risen Reefs out und you play Master of Waves - for example: 4 Reefs (copys count, too) into Master of Waves that make 5 blue elementals are 20(!)cards.
Why only Kiora's and not even one Garruk? Because the Kiora can untap creature's. The biggest benefit of this is Llanowar Tribe and Rosheen Meanderer. This Deck is full of X creatures. This Deck ramp very hard even without Nykthos.
Card Draws can you get about the 2 Kiora's and Hydroid Krasis. The Behemoth is maybe unnecessary.
And a hint about Polukranos, World Eater. You can't double the X effect with Polukranos, because Monstrosity works only once.
Modern is changing from a Turn 4 Format to an a 3-3.5 Format. To Speed up our builds it is necessary to be competiv. I'm really not fan about Chancellor of the Tangle but i think we need this guy to go faster like never before. The big downside is, that the risk to fizzle increased.
-----
The Leyline build is very unique way to do this. My advise is to build it more explosive. Elvish Reclaimer tp search Nykthos (great with one or more Leyline on board) and Burning-Tree Emissary . Or you build it as a part to a combo like the build above this posting.
@CurdBro
Nice Combo with Elder of Laurels by the way .

--------------------
Another idea is the Token Way with Mystic Reflection with March of the Multitudes can be a finisher on its own. If not, both cards are powerful by itself.
Maybe a Devotion Version with Insects. I really like Scute Swarm (that can Win Games by itself) and Beacon of Creation. Beacon with Mystic Reflection can be really funny.
Happy Brewing

Same question: Whisperwood Combo ?
From Channelball article in the past Standardformat about Whisperwood (!) .
The only real combo i had found: Whisperwood Elemental, Torrential Gearhulk, Nexus of Fate combo
https://twitter.com/andrewcuneo/status/1078008200677474304?lang=de
For all that had a question mark about the Wakeroot Elemental combo
Wakeroot Elemental + Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx + 8 Devotion (the Elemental counts, too) = infinite Mana, and/or all Lands are 5/5 => instant win
Thinking about winning on the spot in Pioneer:
Craterhoof's brothers: End-Raze Forerunners , Decimator of the Provinces
Not sure which route i'm following:
The new green Leyline or just searching the land
Maybe this is a good starting point (Only a Quick Sketch) . Just clicking around in the past Standard ramp decks.

Voyaging Satyr vs. Kiora's Follower is the far more important question. The Satyr is easier to cast, but the Follower had +1 Power and can untap even any permanent. If you play both: Overgrowth and Llanowar Tribe , i would play Kiora's Follower so , whatever i got on the board i can untap it. With the same reason Kiora, Master of the Depths is it a must have.
Gilded Goose is reasonable. Only to sacrifice a Token feels like a "One Shot". Was that ever a problem for you?

A Green Devotion List with Karn and Once Upon a Time
Maybe we can all combine it to a Planeswalker + Wolf Devotion Deck.
My quick thoughts about this:
Garruk Relentless make Wolf Tokens.
Arlinn, Voice of the Pack and Arlinn Kord produce Wolfes , too.
The Wolf Lord Nightpack Ambusher is viable imho, and Huntmaster of the Fells is a well known value maschine. (There is is another Lord Mayor of Avabruck not sure if viable, more spicy is Wren's Run Packmaster, deathtouch is nice, and a great ManaSink, but need an Elf to cast) )
Wolfbriar Elemental is a decent choice in a Devotion Deck and even better with Wolf synergies.

4 Utopia Sprawl
3 Windswept Heath
4 Wistful Selkie
1 Incandescent Soulstoke
1 Mu Yanling, Sky Dancer
1 Repudiate / Replicate
4 Veil of Summer
Before you play this deck just get a feeling for this deck and make a goldfish test. for example here: ( http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/elementals-devotion/ press "playtesting" , have fun )
about the Sideboard, some humble thoughts:
Veil of Summer: is set to protect your combo and again draw a card
Repudiate / Replicate : just a sort of counter for example to disabled the bounce effect of Thing in the Ice or that from a Planeswalker
Mu Yanling, Sky Dancer: Not sure. She can doing a big 4/4 flying Elemental.
Incandescent Soulstoke: It's a Lord, that let survive Elementals from the Wave. did thoughts about Creeping Trailblazer but thats too much i think and push only the attack. Maybe Murkfiend Liege or Leyline of Vitality.

Very Nice, that all all Walls and Wiskful let you draw a card (11 cards in sum)
https://youtu.be/aHqy9DLNs6o?t=994 (sadly, Seth misses multi-untapping Nykthos with Magus )
I'm not sure, but i think someone picked this little stupid list, and build something more amazing on based of this.

A green Devotion list in against the Odds, Ooook, but the comments sayed, that this Episode is one of the best in the series.
So enjoy the show!

Nice Combo with Elder of Laurels by the way .
4 Arbor Elf

4 Kiora, Master of the Depths
3 Llanowar Tribe
2 Nissa, Steward of Elements
4 Rosheen Meanderer
4 Summoner's Pact
4 Unbound Flourishing
4 Utopia Sprawl
3 Walking Ballista
3 Breeding Pool

4 Misty Rainforest
4 Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx

3 Wooded Foothills
Why only Kiora's and not even one Garruk? Because the Kiora can untap creature's. The biggest benefit of this is Llanowar Tribe and Rosheen Meanderer. This Deck is full of X creatures. This Deck ramp very hard even without Nykthos.

Some other cards in my Mind
1 Altered Ego
1 Biomass Mutation
1 Courser of Kruphix
1 Finale of Devastation
1 Finale of Revelation
1 Gelatinous Genesis
1 Kiora's Follower
