So we have a PW with a +1 ability that ensures that control never misses another land drop (if Watery Grave comes back, she's even more gonzo) AND resets the top of the library for miracle shenanigans. She's a mirror-match wet dream.
The -3... oh how I wish it was Mutilate. I'd KILL for that card to come back. Underwhelming, and probably won't be used unless you're in panic mode and REALLY need half of a Tendrils of Corruption.

Wow! I am not sure why people are hot about counter spells. I play blue a lot. And I'll tell ya this: as much as I would like to, you can't counter everything. The reason is because you can't win with just counters. Counter-magic isn't a win condition. Once a card sticks there is nothing to counter. An easy observation would be to use a different strategy when playing against counter-magic. Side boards are an amazing thing.
The bolded was a point I was about to bring up. Counterspells are only useful against a spell for a VERY limited amount of time. Other forms of disruption have much larger windows of availability (discard works as long as the card's in hand, targeted removal/bounce is live as long as the permanent is on the battlefield/in the graveyard).
Ultimately, if you take away counters, you take away an entire color's way of meaningfully interacting with the opponent. It wouldn't be a problem if that color would, y'know, get some actual removal.
For U/B, losing Inquisition and Into the Roil (though you could use Disperse) are also huge since that's 6 less ways to deal with TS.
If going W, Reinforcements is ok at best since their problem creatures fly and/or are resistant to most sweepers (Hawk, Idol, Skirge, Nexus). Day I found to be a bit slow unless you curve the nuts (turn 2 bomb, turn 3 TR, turn 4 Day).
My suggestion is splash R for Blast and/or Slagstorm and Bomb MD
The metamorph IS miles better in this archetype, I think that the Image can still warrant a spot because it only has a CMC of two. You can fetch it off of a Birds or Paradise or Llanowar Elves, making them not dead draws late game if you have a pod, or just be cast at the CMC that you want if it's on the board and leave extra mana up.
Valid points. I missed the 1 CMC slot (aka the reason to run G) when reviewing the thread, so 1 would be fine if you don't want and/or already have Spellskite on the field.
One more thing to add: Image can't be podded into in most scenarios while Metamorph is generally easier, and it interacts much more favorably with Tezz. If you really want to push Images, you're better off with Bant in order to capitalize on Sun Titan IMO.
I dont know if Phantasmal Image would work in a Tezz/Pod deck. You can not target with Pod or Tezz as it will be sac'd and then the abilities will fizzle. Just saying...

In all seriousness, that pose looks too similar to M12 Garruk IMO.
Then it becomes "Whoever draws and plays X wins the game" instead of "Whoever draws and plays the last X wins the game."
