I am actually a big fan of the green one being +1/+1 counters. Handing out a +1/+1 counter every turn could be quite nifty.

    Steroid Elemental 4GG
    Creature - Elemental
    Suspend XGG
Whenever you remove a time counter from ~, put a +1/+1 counter on target creature.
When ~ comes into play move all +1/+1 counters in play to it.
    Trample
    Remove a +1/+1 counter from ~: Regenerate ~.
    0/0

So for 3GG you would temporarily buff three creatures and then get a 3/3 trampling hasted regenerator? Not incredibly good with such little mana, but for 5GG you get a 5/5 hasted trampling regenerator and five temporary buffs. Not to mention Doubling Season or graft shenanigans.
And if that's not too nifty...

    Vitamin Elemental 4GG
    Creature - Elemental
    Suspend XGG
Whenever you remove a time counter from ~, put a +1/+1 counter on target creature and gain one life.
When ~ comes into play, move all +1/+1 counters in play onto it and gain life equal to the number of counters moved this way.
    (Trample or regenerate?)
    0/0

So for 3GG you would gain six life, temporarily buff three of your creatures and get a 3/3 creature with haste? Not too shabby. For 5GG you could get a 5/5 hasted creature, ten life, and five temporary buffs. And again, even worse with with Doubling Season or graft shenanigans.

The easiest thing that they could be doing is getting rid of the reserved list. What does it do? It's a list of cards that they cannot make again. Okay. Good. Most people are not concerned with cards that cannot be printed again. And even if the list was done away with, they still would not print those cards. Doing away with the reserved list would not change the game in any way, shape, or form. This is not what MaRo was speaking of. He is talking about something that actually matters.

Good call there. If it were to be the card that I initially said it could be, it would be a shift from Backfire.

No, the correct analogue is anime, which it wasn't. You're not right just because you can twist my analogies around. It might not be a very close analogy, but it suits the purpose as it is

I guess you could say that anime is the correct analogy for Kamigawa so long as you discount all of the anime with mecha/space travel/medieval-ness/angels/guns/cute little animals/contemporary settings/actually anything other than Japanese historical-mythological influences. Japan would be the correct analogy for Kamigawa.

Is it just me, or is this picture an exact reversal of Spirit Link, a la timeshifted?

Fang Link (For lack of a better name) -- B
    Enchantment - Aura -- Common
Whenever enchanted creature deals damage, its controller loses that much life.

If it weren't for the bat attacking the wizard, I would suggest that it is an exact black reprint of Spirit Link (As we all know it should have been). Any other ideas?

    EDIT:
Upon further thought, I find it very likely that this is a timeshift of Spirit Link. Though the bat may be attacking the wizard, it doesn't have to be the wizard that controls it.

    Vampiric Link -- B
    Enchantment - Aura -- Common
Whenever enchanted creature deals damage, you gain that much life.

::Sigh:: It looked so much better as an anti-Spirit Link...
