I'm probably in the minority here for this, but I'd like to see at least one of those Kamigawa flip cards get some justice complete with two frames of artwork.
Enrage is going to beautifully with my 3 differentStuffy Doll decks. I'll be able to redirect damage (or deal it myself) to the dinosaurs with enrage. Also, the damage redirecting En-kor will play nicely w/ enrage.
That reminds me. All of the hilarity from a non-donate centered Sorrow's Path deck filled with en-kor, mogg maniacs, tamanoa, rite of passage, etc. could really benefit from all of the enrage triggers.
Well, it's not strictly worse than Wild Nacatl. You could play this in a mono-green deck and have 2 (or even 3) 2/2's on the 2nd turn. And this is assuming that there are no other mono-green merfolk in this set.
I think I'm just slightly irked by the fact how we currently have a choice between 10 enemy colored commanders with partner and only 5 allied colored commanders with partner. If this is likely to be more of a one-time thing, I'm hoping that 5 new allied colored commanders with partner would come out in the near future for the sake of more flexibility for partnered commander decks.
Wow, now she looks frickin' cool. That purple glowing forearm/dagger would look really cool in foil.
Also, if she is WB, it's nice to see someone bring in a completely different feel in those colors than Sorin, who unofficially seemed be have the monopoly over those colors in past years.
Probably not going to happen, but just remembered Tatsumasa, the Dragon's Fang. It'll by no means be the most ideal choice, but a cool blue spirit dragon token could potentially be a cool addition.
Hang on, so I remember second-handedly there being a conversation during SoI of why Nahiri's card is still part white while her actions seem to be all red. Supposedly, MaRo said that we would find out why in Eldritch Moon. Now that all of the spoilers are out, do we know yet or is the story not yet finished?
I thought that Planar Birth was always an amusing card that can semi-lock people down with an armageddon and tormod's crypt. However, it being able to include non-basics is well worth the extra two mana (which tends to be easier to attain in green as well). As people have already said, it's all about those fetchlands that makes this card a bit overwhelming.
EDIT: just realized that playing this post-Scapeshift would be absolutely hilarious although it's a bit win-more at that point.
I feel like this is one of those cards where it'd be funner to be the opponent. "You can have this lovely washer and dryer or you can trade it all for what's in this box!" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CcG8z2OTAWs
I'm curious why the undead/zombies seem to get a reprieve from Emrakul's influence, though.
Its a really good question. It cant be because "they dont have a mind, they are like puppets" because Emrakul affects rocks and plants, even if Emrakul can control them where is the physical transformation? trees change, buildings change, everything change except the undeads and some creatures. If Emrakul can transform plants and buildings, why not the earth? earth and rock are very similar. If im a half-eldrazi, someone kill me and revive me, i will still be a Emrakul's minion or i will be free? A lich (intelligent undead) can be mindcontrolled and transformed by Emrakul? so many questions...
What if its because the former human half of hanweir? All the citizens becoming one with hanweir itself. The reason its an eldrazi ooze.
Now based on what spirits and zombies and constructs I have seen in Eldritch Moon, what if its because they weren't of living matter? Dead things and artificial things are not within Emrakul's domain?
I don't think he's necessarily talking about Hanweir though. There's this one image on the official site that has a caption that reads, "Emrakul's influence even extends to inanimate objects like the streets and buildings of the towns themselves." Associated image

Also, I do kind of wish that the dwarf was another small angel instead, but I'd still get my playset
Haha, that's a good point. Repeatable blink effects like her's do work well with all of the Eldrazi processors.

And I think the Jace one works really well with the name now. He has to unravel his own brain to find the tasty secrets inside
Haha, beat me to it!
