I think classic BWET build with 22 lands + some amount of blade splicers is the best against Humans.
Against Mardu Pyromancer, I wouldn't want Tidehollow Sculler or Wasteland Strangler, and Flickerwisp are bad. I would run build with Thraben Inspectors, some Blade Splicers and of course Reality Smashers. Probably little black for Lingering Souls.
Game two he has installed Hedron Crab, Mesmeric Orb and Fraying Sanity and threatened to kill me very fast, but I managed to Flicker his Sanity to kill Hedron Crab and proceed to beat for the win. Sculler'ed him twice, mill spell and Drown in Sorrow.
Match 3. RG Madcap Ponza 2-0
Generally horrific match for us, but I have been bringing a lot of stuff to fight this exact match.
Game 1. I had a vial turn 1 on mull to 6, he had no Moon but Land Destruction. I managed to slow down his ramp with Flickerwisp into Land and Stranger into Birds of Paradise. He couldn't recover from this.
Sideboard (all about trimming): +Oblviion Ring, +Disenchant, +2 Thoughtseize, +2 Burrenton Forge-Tender, -2 Eldrazi Displacer, -3 Path to Exile, -Strangler
Game 2. I had thoughtseize him twice. Thoughtseize is a key card in sideboard for this match, because other discard creatures are useless if you get early mooned or LD. First thoughtseize got a Moon with him having no ramp but lands, 2 Stone Rain, Bonfire and Kitchen Finks. Second play was Thalia and he had Finks for turn 3. Turn 3 I played another thoughtseize to pick another Finks and played Burrenton for protection against Bonfire. At some stage of game I had been forced to path his Finks to Process them to kill Arbor Elf and superior team with Thalia and Burrenton have finished the game.
Match 4. Abzan Midrange 0-2
The matchup is bad, but winnable if you drew well. I didn't.
The sideboarding is rough. You need to choose a way: tax plan or value-process plan.
After game 2, I have realized that Flickerwisps are still good in this match. Yes, they are freakingly bad vs Lingering Souls, but if opponent simply doesn't have them, they are pretty good with flickering shenanigans, air combat and fighting planeswalker. Definitely wont sideboard them out next time.
Having Fragmentize is definitely a huge thing, especially implying that Stony Silence hits your own Vials (I don't side vials out, because I believe that tempo is important) and Clues.
Fragmentize allow to get rid of Steel Overseer turn 1, and that means something.
But probably being on full-four Stony Silence is pretty great idea as well.
We cut Restoration Angel, Horizon Canopy, heavy Tec Edge package for some hand disruption of TKS and Eldrazi Displacer which allow ultimate shenanigans with all out ETB creatures. Reality Smasher in sideboard give us huge gunpower in some matches.
1. Why do u sideboard Stranglers in Burn match? They seem to be perfect killers and reasonable clocks. Why not Displacers instead which are bolt-eaters?
2. Why do u keep PtE in scapeshift matches? PtE is pretty bad and PtE into resolved Titan most likely mean your creature will die. Strangler, by the way, is a 3/2 body that fights Search for Tomorrow suspended.
3. I think that Zealous Persecution is a bit better than blessed alliance, it gives you a chance to fight their board after wrath.
4. I don't know what is Jeskai Aggro, but it's 3 color deck and Leonin Arbiter is probably auto-included to have a chance to lock a player down. Better to specify, is it geist aggro? all-on flyers?
5. I won't drop Thalia at all in Elves matches, she's pretty good at defense while also hating their CoCo/Chords.
6. Actually, even if you have 3 thalia mainboard, I really feel like you need a fourth one in sideboard.
7. Path to Exile, Eldrazi Displacer are pretty meh cards in Skred Match. You basically don't have a good target for path. And consider siding some Stony Silence, they are bonkers.
8. You side Finks out a lot of times. What if you just drop from mainboard for 4th thalia for example?
9. I also don't get why you drop Strangler in Infect matchup. You can use them at sorcery speed, at vial speed. I just see not a single reason to drop them out.
10. I think vs Merfolks you may completely drop all arbiters off. Even with GQ and PtE, they don't do anything efficient.
11. Leonin is decent in Dredge match, you always have a solid chance to lock them on fetches. TKS does exile things and it will be revelant because dredge doesn't get empty-handed and it's 4/4 body which is super revelant.
12. I feel a bit odd not to add Sin Collector vs RG breach because he sits in sideboard mostly for such matchups.
I think Collected Brutality is really playable in our deck as one of in spot either removal or discard. It's relatively slow, but universal card that improves our bad matches. It's good anti manadork or early aggro removal as well as it's discard vs combo deck in one card, so it's not dead card. 2 life drain can be revelant vs burn for example.
I think BW Tokens are quite favor against new UWR Nahiri Control. -2 hurts anthem, but that's not a killing blow. Our flying tokens are quite good in killing planeswalkers, and UWR removal is quite bad vs us.
Raise the Alarm doesn't really set the clock at combo deck. Most of them run very painless manabase, so it's hard to kill them with their only. Raise the Alarm is also super vulnerable to any land blocker, it's weak to spot removal.
Single Raise the Alarm attacks for 2 since turn 3, it kills opponent at turn 13.
Single Bitterblossom attacks for 1+T since turn 4, 1(turn 4)+2(turn 5)+3(turn 6)+4(turn 7)+5(turn 8)+6(turn 9). It kills opponent at turn 9.
Raise the Alarm into Spectral Procession into Sorin gives: 2(turn 3)+10(turn 4)+10(turn 5)
Bitterblossom into Spectral Procession into Sorin gives: 0(turn 3)+8(turn 4)+10(turn 5)
The difference is not very huge. Bitterblossom is also very resilent to board wipes and blockers.
Honestly, I can't really say that raise the alarm can find itself in fast matches. It's still a lot worse than Bitterblossom. I like the idea of singleton actually.
Burrenton Forge-Tender is exactly not you bring vs Affinity. Except Whipflare potential fear, there are not a single another usage of it in this match. And they may simply don't have it, or we could have discarded it already, or we don't have Burrenton in hand.
Blood Baron of Vizkopa is not something you would like to have in sideboard at all. We are heavily tight in sideboard spots, we have so many good things we can put into sideboard, so we definitely don't need insanely slow card which is revelant in one match only which is already favofable for us.
Bitterblossom is quite good vs Affinity, as it gives you a stream of blockers and attackers, helps to oversurvive Whipflare. Yes, Bitterblossom doesn't save from Etched Champion + Cranial Plating beatings, but neither does except discard. It's probably much worse if you don't play first. I think one of most important aspect in Affinity match is that it's hard for them to win us with early aggro. Whiplare, Steel Overseer, unchecked Cranial Plating, Etched Champion are they most typical ways to win us. So I would rather side Auriok Champion out instead of Bitterblossom.
25 lands allow to mulligan aggresively sometimes. You can side couple of lands out for grindy matches.
Vault of the Archangel is good utility land with increase of creature-filled decks. Ghost Quarter can be brought from sideboard instead of Vault of the Archangel.
I like 1 raise the alarm as secret tech and 3 BB as main drop 2 plan.
2 Auriok Champions look also fine.
Sideboard has some good slots and versatality.
I don't like Dismember and I'm glad not to see it in this build.
The only thing which I don't like is 1 honor of the pure, I would play 1 Secure the Wastes in this slot just because I love this card, but probably 5th anthem is quite good.
I wonder - BW Aristocrats lists play small creatures, drain, and then sacrifice everything to return and drain more.
I'm curious about 3 creatures: Grim Haruspex, Carrion Feeder, Smothering Abomination. Can't we build some another deck with steady draw based on sacrifice and also strong beaters? Another strategy. Sorry for clunky speech
I really don't get why most of you don't u run a singleton of Secure the Wastes. The card is nuts. I can't tell you awesome is to topdeck it in lategame, especially vs control matches.
Cut is really good with 8 fetches, and in Raise the Alarm shell as well. Dismember can be really painful vs aggro and burn deck, it was good and guaranteed tech vs twin, but now it's of less importance.
Sorin Solemn Visitor 3 copies is probably essential for BB builds. Another planeswalkers are optional and can't substitute Sorin.
1. Even if you have 3 Sorin SV in hand, opponents can't ignore him to attack you instead, unless you are really low. So multiple copies most likely are not redundant.
2. With new Anguished Unmaking into mainboard, and Auriok Champion out board, we need even more lifegain than usual. Timely Reinforcements MB is really bad card in a lot of our bad matches, yes it's good vs aggro if you face it, but run 3 mainboard just to compensate ongoing lifeloss doesn't sounds as good tech. Timely Reinforcements is also compete for 3rd drop

3-1 daily tournament
Match 1. Burn 2-0
I had pretty good start with vial, opponent had 2 guides but I developed board too fast.
Sideboard: -2 Dark Confidant, -3 Flickerwisp, +2 Burrenton Forge-Tender, +2 Fatal Push, +1 Kambal, Consul of Allocation
I had 2 eldrazi temple game 2 which lead to Eldrazi Displacer-Tidehollow Sculler-Strangler shenanigans. Did Rift Bolt process trick once.
Match 2. Esper Mill 2-0
Game one I beat him down pretty easily.
Sideboard: -4 Path to Exile, +2 Thoughtseize, +1 Oblivion Ring, Kambal
Game two he has installed Hedron Crab, Mesmeric Orb and Fraying Sanity and threatened to kill me very fast, but I managed to Flicker his Sanity to kill Hedron Crab and proceed to beat for the win. Sculler'ed him twice, mill spell and Drown in Sorrow.

I chose tax plan and lost super bad game 2.

I don't think that you need Auriok Champion in today's twinless meta mainboard. Not even a single one.
