So, I've been toying with this build for a while. I wanted to build a MLD/BW deck for a while now, but I didn't want to build the atypical wipe lands and try to force opponents to concede. I wanted to do a little more, and get a solid win down. However, as I work on brewing and play testing, I find myself always coming up short with either too many MLD's, or too much ramp and no draw, or little ramp/lands and barely draw.
So I want to turn to you guys and see what I can do to try and improve this. I've looked at a few MLD decks, but it seems like the most recent one I can find is almost a year old.
The thing I like about Gideon is that with the right items on the field, we can emblem and recur Gideon!
Dispatch This is mostly due to the fact that when we need to use it, metalcraft will be on. Also, in my meta, I don't really run against a lot of artifact hate that'll see the stack.
Crib Swap this was just cuz of it's tutor-ability. I am however totally open to cutting them for Dictate
Day of Judgment For me currently, it'd have to stay until I can find a Rout. However, i have written it down as a to get.
Mask of Memory - Again, another card I will have to find So in the meantime Rogue's Gloves it is. I have to wait for tcg/mail cards as shops by me only carry big name cards and not bulk rare/junk
I can see the point on Linvala. I haven't come across any clones or thefts yet, but there's always the removal I can count on, or try to. I'll keep play testing it, and if it nears 50% problematic, she'll get the cut.
Dictate of Heliod I wanna fit this and Honor of the Pure in, but for the 2W extra, it didn't make first cut. While yes, bigger and flashy is great, to me 1W allows me to do more on that turn, or get them out sooner.
So here's my take on a rebuild for Lin Sivvi. I used to run a build like OP, but now, I've altered ISBPathfinder latest deck list. I'm curious on my card choices. Trying to run some different token makers, and pull a bit more on the card draw since I noticed that's what this deck lacks. I don't wanna just rely on being able to deal combat damage to draw though.
I am in a tournament this Saturday, the 30th, for 2 Headed Giant. My partner is running a Krenko, Mob Boss deck and I will be running Sen Triplets. I have built a deck, but am unsure if it's an appropriate deck. My initial idea was to include a win con with infinite turns using Thopter Assembly and Time Sieve, however in a Facebook thread, it was brought to my attention I should just focus on Esper good stuff.
Now, I've built a good Damia, Sage of Stone deck for Multiplayer, and I normally can do well 1v1 with my Rhys the Redeemed deck, but we figured, if my partner is playing Krenko, I should look to more control. However, I've never really built Esper. So, I'd love some feedback and suggestions on card choices for this upcoming event.
In my deck, I am running a lot of protection, which explains the swords and the greaves. However, I'm not 100% sold on the swords needing to be in there, but it was suggested for me to run.
What I was also considering, but this is due to my days with Damia, running DEN, Palinchron to couple with Venser/Torrential Gearhulk to either bounce all my opponents permanents, or help keep control. Obviously DEN and Palinchron is infinite mana, which helps keep my opponents boards empty. Yet, I'm not 100% sold they need to be in there.
Also, should I be running prison effects, as they only protect me?
So I look to you, the mtgs community, for assistance!

I like all of your suggestions and they all make sense. I was going off a primer for Child of Alara to try and build this off another theme, and as it turns out, I did miss some very important items. One of the biggest things I noticed when I was play testing was the lack of mana to activate the lands via their ability. I was either just doing damage with one land or I was doing nothing as I had a lot of {1} mana.
I am going to write down all of your cards, and your list, and compare to re-think my deck. It's a good thing it's just on paper as of right now.
I am also open to more suggestions to fit with the theme.
The one thing I am worried about, is destruction to my lands upon cards that turn them into manlands, without their use of ability. Cards like: Sylvan Advocate. However, I guess that's where the other enchantments come into play, right?

I haven't played Drana in some time as I've put more energy into Alesha, who is my baby. But this deck by elfric is definitely in the right ballpark with the right mindset.
I was looking at this deck and your Alesha deck. As I said, this will be my first French EDH deck. Of the two, knowing your experience with your Drana deck, which would you suggest to a newcomer?

So, I just finished building a Rhys deck, with help of my LGS owner, who claimed to have played a competitive deck for 5 years. Didn't mention if it was French or Multiplayer or what, so I'm not sure the full extent of his knowledge. I, myself, will be playing this mostly in a multiplayer setting. The following cards below are my current deck status. Below that are cards I have, and in that are cards that I want to add, but not sure what to cut for it.
I personally would drop a Memnite for another Etched Champion. Also, as you have no way to regenerate Artifacts, I would cut the Shrapnel Blast for 2 more Thoughcast. Another thing I would look into getting are these two: Ancient Grudge and Whipflare.
Update[7/26/16]:
So I've moved away from a Tempered Steel build to a more classic Affinity build. I'm not sure still how to better shape this. In my meta, it seems like I play upagainst a lot of control or destruction through bolts, or a lot of thoughsiezes. I'm not really sure how to get around this. I've considered adding in my own counters, but not really sure which counterspells to add to this deck, or if they're worth it. I also can't rely on just slamming down Arcbound Ravager or Etched Champion and swinging out as, again, I get a lot of removals from my board state.
I've added 2 Spellskite's to my maindeck instead of the commonly found 1, due to a lot of the removals and the bolts. Hoping I'd draw into them more frequently. Not really sure how to better shape this. Should I consider adding more Galvantic Blast's to my main board and cut out 2 Vault Skirge's?

I would love some feedback, whether to speed up the plays or replace cards out, I'm open to ideas on improvement.
I was looking at this deck and your Alesha deck. As I said, this will be my first French EDH deck. Of the two, knowing your experience with your Drana deck, which would you suggest to a newcomer?
Is there an update to your list, or a list of changes?
My store is looking to getting into French, for like another game night within the week, and I've been trying to come up with ideas on who to play. In normal EDH, I have a competitive Damia, and a developing Rhys, so, I'd like to get into mono-black or meren and work on a hand/creature sac set.

Now of the want to add, I know I need Defense of the Heart, Privileged Position, Sylvan Library, Sensei's Divining Top, and Worldly Tutor.
I would like to add Elspeth as a soft creature reset, but not really sure if it's worth it for the 4WW.
I am also open to suggestions to improve the deck beyond the cards that I currently have. Again, I am trying to keep this in a multiplayer setting.
So I've moved away from a Tempered Steel build to a more classic Affinity build. I'm not sure still how to better shape this. In my meta, it seems like I play upagainst a lot of control or destruction through bolts, or a lot of thoughsiezes. I'm not really sure how to get around this. I've considered adding in my own counters, but not really sure which counterspells to add to this deck, or if they're worth it. I also can't rely on just slamming down Arcbound Ravager or Etched Champion and swinging out as, again, I get a lot of removals from my board state.

I've added 2 Spellskite's to my maindeck instead of the commonly found 1, due to a lot of the removals and the bolts. Hoping I'd draw into them more frequently. Not really sure how to better shape this. Should I consider adding more Galvantic Blast's to my main board and cut out 2 Vault Skirge's?
