Same boat here. Married with twins on the way. I just cannot reason paying so much for paper to enjoy, especially when it can go to so many other things instead.. i.e furniture, new home improvements, activities wwith the FAM etc.I i still have all of mycards and cube, whichI can playy whenI would like to.
however, the people at all of theLGS around where I live are just smelly, and weirdos. I can't really enjoy this hobby with them.s

Will these holofoils add extra price to our packs? I ask as foiling in print is an extra step/unit in line If they have enough units on press or if they add it via die cut, and usually costs significantly more.
additionally, sinceI doubt these cards are going to be produced like money, the foiling is still not going to line up exactly on every single card.
whatthen?.
counterfeit cards that are made the same way as the real deal are finally going to level the playing field and allow the players who play this game for the strategy and competitive part to really get going.
the current cost of cards is outrageous just to even play competively. I want to know iI lost because iI was outsmarted, not out priced monetarily
Well based of the print runs we have been seeing, colors can be all over the place.I'm honestly glad this is happening, andI hope it is a wake up call to wixards to help make cards more affordable
What I'd love to know is if whether they still have on file, or the original plates and/or negatives from the Alpha, Beta, and Unlimited runs still out and about.
Even then, I'd wonder if they still have the specs of the die they used for the rounded edges, or how easy to duplicate.
I run a large cube, with 3 of the tri-color-cards maximum.
I was wondering if anyone has tried this card, or their thoughts on it. I am skeptical on the red and green effects, but kind of interested in the Black creature sacrifice effect.
I also run Thraximundar" target="blank">Thraximundar as well as Blood Artist.
I would go KArn, simply because I know I can get one of the good ramper cards afterwards, and Karn can go into 2 of the archetypes solidly.
The top is great don't get my wrong, but it is great bait to get the next bit of ramp, depending on what is flipped next.
My final point is that there is some good cards for control floating about, so you can switch your game plan if you have to.
Edit i wanted to say i had thought that we would be given some more time to pick!!!
But I keep KArn for this
2nd Edit: Pringles, thank you for doing this, as it is nice to try this draft format and have feedback to understand better how to do it correctly!
I really like the hidden information as well!
How many cards did you lay out initially?
And we basically are going to quilt 3 times, for 54 cards? and build down to 40 or?
hmm best way to explain is that when you go to check out, they apply a "random coupon" on top of the 10% sales going on, plus 10% for the credit card problem, plus 5% if you use your target card.
Best thing I can advise is to try this out at Target before they close tonight.
My commander decks, before taxes, and after the discounts/coupons applied were $14.58
I wish I could provide more evidence as I read it off of the receipt.
i would like to vote but unable until tomorrow evening
I would never use Magic as a pure investment. It is a hobby and game first.

I wanted to test him, but as mentioned, he just seems too costly for the effect he produces that is already covered in other great cards.
A lot of the time my cube plays multiplayer. Does the 2B AND creature sac justified in this instance, when games can go late?
Even then, I'd wonder if they still have the specs of the die they used for the rounded edges, or how easy to duplicate.
That would be a HUGE find
Shattergang Brothers
