I understand the sentiment... sort of. Instead of a lack of content, I have the opposite problem, too much content. I see something and I get inspired to write an entire novel out of the one spark. And the sad thing is that I have more than enough content to do it most of the time.
To give you an example of how bad my problem is, I read on Wikipedia about how hard and difficult it is for humanity to get the idea for an alphabet (like the Latin alphabet we use). This got me to think, well if it is so hard to create an alphabet, I wonder if any other intelligent life in the universe has created an alphabet that could easily represent different languages. Which led to the idea that once humanity makes contact with aliens, humans become the default linguists and diplomats of the universe since they introduce the first trans-language alphabet to the universe. And then by extension English becomes the universal language of the universe. And basically this is just the tip of the iceberg of my entire idea that was sparked by that one line that I read on Wikipedia, because then I got thinking that humans are unusually well programmed for language learning, retention, and making a wide-range of sounds and inclinations, meaning there is a strong possibility that we would be able to learn and speak most alien sound-based languages in some form or another. Another interesting fact is that the more languages one learns the easier it is to learn and retain another language.
But the problem is that I get one idea, get 10-20 pages into it and then find another idea that drags me in the opposite direction. Well that and it seems most of my ideas revolve around vampires (which is no surprise to anybody that knows me).
The best I ever did was I got about 100 pages into a finishing writing the novel before I got dragged into a different direction by another spark. Though it is so far along that I will come back to it eventually. Plus it is number two on my top 3 novel ideas, so I got motivation to finish it.
Right now I am like 50 pages into the novel I am writing, and I have committed myself to finishing it through thick and thin, no matter what else may ignite my spark.
Hmm... I wrote a lot for just a response.
Luckily I already pray to our Angelic Overlord, Hallowed by Thy Reckless Rage.
As for the Apostle... Neat.
First off Grakk is amazing. We really need a legendary Grakk card. Second the new pacifism art is just as amazing. Knitting FTW!
Even better there is Chandra, Acolyte of Flame to get you two hasty Coiling Oracles each turn in Standard and, if you are lucky, limited.
I am sort of afraid to go to my LGS's modern tournaments now though since it was already between 50%-66% Tron (depending on the night) before the London Mulligan. And a few of the players there are die-hard Tron players (one has a foiled out Tron deck with masterpieces and everything), so they know how to play the deck inside and out (and were already aggressive mulliganers).
My personal favorite of the three is Chandra, Acolyte of Flame. While all the abilities work great on their own I really appreciate how different she looks to play in different decks. In burn she can flashback burn spells. In a sacrifice deck she creates two elementals perfect for Priest of Forgotten Gods. In a red-based superfriends deck she is basically Ajani, pumping out tons of loyalty counters each turn.
Chandra, Novice Pyromancer is the one I am most curious about once the rest of the set is revealed. It looks like it has a decent floor since it both ramps and deals damage pretty effectively at worse. The real key is how many elementals we are getting in Core Set 2020. If there are a few good ones I could see a Chandra/Elemental Tribal Deck with things like Chandra, Acolyte of Flame and Runaway Steam-kin to good effect.
Chandra, Awakened Inferno is definitely powerful (one +2 activation and you have inevitability), but the least exciting of the three. Clearly meant to be a finisher for a control deck with red in it. I do wish either her -3 or -X were something else. They are clearly meant to handle different problems, but I would've appreciated maybe an elemental creation ability to really synergize with the other two versions.

Basic idea of the deck is to get out an Arcane Adaptation on Dragons. Each creature you get will then trigger Spit Flame, Dragon's Hoard, and Sarkhan the Masterless. In addition there are other cool interactions, such as:
Will this deck end up being good? Don't know. But it has a lot of cool interactions and can be very explosive, even though it is kind of removal light/relying on getting synergistic draws.
Out of all the cards that have been spoiled so far Tamiyo is one of the one's that got my wheels spinning the most was Tamiyo, Collector of Tales. As my first thought was this could be the missing piece to making a Standard Dredge deck. The more I thought about it the more I also realized it could make a Laboratory Maniac/Turbo Fog deck thanks to Jace, Wielder of Mysteries. That doesn't even include the other possibilities as a repeatable Regrowth or in something like a Temur Phoenix build.

These are just my current ideas, but I feel like there are a lot more possibilities with her, especially out of a Arclight Phoenix or Crackling Drake shell. There is also probably a more Sultai Dredge build with Blood Operative.
We are getting a better edict in Liliana's Triumph in War.
As for True-Name Nemesis I hope this isn't true, not because I think it will be too powerful in modern, but because it will be annoying. The last thing modern needs are more cards that are hard to interact with.
My grandma on my dad's side was born and raised in Trinidad, was the mother of eight, was 4'11" (if that), and was the largest person in any room she entered. My grandma on my mom's side lived her entire life on the south side of Chicago, was the mother of four, had an opinion about everything, and she would tell you when you had eaten enough to leave the table. So, um, while maybe not throwing fire in the face, same difference.
Also probably because of my Grandma on my dad's side I always here Jaya speak in a thick Trinidadian accent in my head.
Don't look a gift horse in the mouth.
Rare only means there will be more Feathers for all at a lower cost, which given this cards ability, plus the fact it is Feather probably means she will be one of the more expensive rares in the set.
