You have no idea how many times in the last week I've clicked on my bookmark for this site and suddenly been hit with "Yeah this place is closing soon.." again and it just feel like a kick in the stomach. Knowing there's something in the works feels good.Posted in: Articles

It really does just come down to card advantage on a cheap body. You build your deck so that it very rarely hits you for more than 3 points of damage which is more than acceptable if it means you draw the cards you need to win. It can go several rounds of being out if your opponent doesn't have removal or deems it a lesser threat than another thing you've stuck on your board and is highly splashable at only 1 pip of B. It's true it doesn't go in every deck but that's true of a lot of cards.
Excellent include for DM but man have the showings so far been iffy. I'm personally staying away from this product and only buying singles because there a lot of jank around these nuggets of gold.
I can't even find the words to say how much I want this set. If I wasn't buying a box already this has 100% convinced me to buy a box. this feels like the first time I saw the Ravnica shock lands spoiled, I'm giddy for these things.
No that's his point. The original Tarmogoyf was printed the set before those became a thing in magic, thus spoiling they would be a thing (they were referenced in the reminder text of the card).
Right, I think this is exactly what it means in this context. It's not that this is considered 5 colors with out being five colors, I think it means it's providing one devotion to every source that is checking for devotion to a color. So a black devotion card will see one devotion to black with this and a card that is checking for both say white and red will only check this once, not twice, providing again, one devotion.
Yeah you're not kidding this is 100% a rare worthy card.
