If I have Incandescent Soulstoke in play, can I End of Turn his ability on my opponent's turn and not sacrifice the creature? I think in that sense its similar how Waylay was abused back then.
Second, when a Champion creature comes into play, such as Nova Chaser, when it is already successfuly played, and comes into play, can people respond to the champion trigger, or must you remove a creature immediately before anyone gets to play a spell? In that sense, if I have nothing on the table and I play Sootstoke Kindler, then play Nova Chaser, then in response to the champion ability haste the Chaser before removing the Kindler from the game?
Also, if I Heat Shimmer a Nova Chaser, do I still have to champion a creature with the copy?
If my Smokebraider gets enchanted with Lignify and I play Rage Forger does it get a +1/+1 counter? I was wondering about keeping it's subtype, is it a Treefolk Shaman or just Treefolk?
Another question is does having 2 Rage Forgers in play, and a creature with a +1/+1 counter attacking, does it deal 2 damage or it only triggers once?
With that said, what is Ashling's Elemental? I know that Purity showed itself to Rhys after the nuclear bomb at Feast of Footbottom, but I am wondering about that fiery horse that belongs to Ashling.
I was already saying back then that the Kithkin and Flamekin Bannerets might have been switched, because the Brighthearth one is more fitting to the Kithkin style of reinforce right now, and a 2cc 2/1 ability drop is more suited to Flamekins. Both tribes would be happy if they were indeed switched, but I wont be surprised if theyre not, though if they are like this they wouldnt be included in aggro decks of those tribes.
I mean, Flamekin aggro doesnt need the Reinforce, and if the ballyrush is inded like that they wouldnt need it. The 2 drop slot is already full, and with low curves there wouldnt be a reason to use it.
I was thinking of keeping the deck mono red though. Its good actually, it just lacks some burn. Im just feeling a little obsessive compulsive about Tarfire being goblin.
Im understanding that Smokebraider is indeed better than Brighthearth Banneret in terms of acceleration..
What are your opinions of Vengeful Firebrand? Theyre in 2 because they used to be Changeling Berserkers, but without the Champion drawback, Firebrand is actually good. Its not that slow either, even if its slow it acts like a Ball Lightning... I think it can go up to 3 or even 4.
This is more related to Call of the Wild or Preferred Selection than Mirri's Guile. It's excellent for Treefolk, the high power will let you dig for multiple copies of Timber Protector and ideally put more than 1 in play, which seals the game for you.
I know the deck looks too creature heavy, but half of those creatures act like spells rather than beats, like evoking an Acolyte to hasten a Nova Chaser, or Sneak Attack a Nova Chaser with the Soulstoke. Heat Shimmer is pretty good copying Soulstokes for beats (usually letting you attack with a swarm of 3/3s to 4/4s) doubling Nova Chaser, or even kill legends. Plus, there arent any much good burn spells in block. Any tips?
Awesome 1 drops for Kithkin. =/ No other tribe gets multiple usable 1 drops. In Block.
About the Cleric lord, it can actually provide a softlock provided you have enough Clerics. Even 3 Clerics in play would shut down 3 power creatures and burn spells to the head.
I hear it's supposed to be a 2/2 2R Elemental Warrior with "Sacrifice an elemental: Seething Pathblazer gets +2/+0 and gains first strike until end of turn."
Thanks a lot Hunter and Imp's Mischeif! Its like Nantuko Husk. Only not.
