    I run a similar list to the last aswell with the biggest difference being I'm running Serra Avengers over Trolls and Enforcers. I really enjoy the Avengers, that being said, there are a few times where I would loved to have had an Enforcer.

    I've been playing lately with Cromatic Stars but while I do appreciate they extra pump they seem very clunky. I'm pretty sure I'm just going to swap them for Tarfires so I'll be running Incinerates and Tarfires. Probably will trying some Calciderms next.

    I also run two Loxodon Warhammers which I've been very happy with.

    Side note, just played a game where the opponent cast Spirit Link on my Kavu Predator Smile

    Cairn wanderer doesn't seem so hot for a win, it's a 5-mana 4/4 with a drawback (champion) and a very dependant ability.

    I couldn't find a "Delve Deamon" so if somebody can help me with that it would be greatly appreciated. I'm also testing a B/R Haakon deck that uses Goblin Lore. I've added Lightning Axe(which can discard Haakon and kill Doran) and Fiery Temper. My plan is to pretty much use Cairn Wanderer as a recurable kill condition. I run a few Suq'Ata Lancer and Blood Knight with one Skyhunter Skirmisher for the bonuses. Here's to hoping we get another good changling card to add to this deck.

    damnation? I'll have 2 creatures out at max. nice use of damnation, to kill 1-2 creatures.


    It is a good use if you only have seven creatures in your deck.

    I agree with the use of Reality Acid, although this is from testing before Oblivion Ring was spoiled, 8 of these might be too many. Perilous Research is indeed awesome with Hatching Plans but if this is for post Lorwyn Hatching Plans is out of the question. There are still dying permanants, Reality Acid, Oblivion Rings, and even Flagstones to sacrifice though.

    In my deck I also liked adding in a Sacred Mesa or two just to have something to fall back on incase all my creatures were killed or removed.

    I also second the use of counterspells in whatever form of Mana Tithe, Rune Snag, Mana Leak, etc.

    Countering can't be one of the abilities since they can only be played at sorcery speed(unless is said otherwise which I doubt). Maybe something like:
    +1 Bounce a creature/permanant or maybe tap/untap a permanant
    -1 Draw a Card
    +X Upheavel/Evacuation

    Don't you mean X+1=Y?

    Also, I don't think it's fair to compare this guy to Wall of Roots. First off, one is a wall that gives mana. Sure they both are practically a 5/5 when they are out together but that's about it.

    Not only does Doran make himself stronger, he's good at making some other creatures weaker. If I plan on using him I think I'd find it hard not to include some Wall of Roots as well. Nothing wrong with some 4/4 and 5/5 walls for 1G that can still produce mana.

    It lowers the cost from 5cc(where the card should win(or drastically alter in your favor)the game) to 4cc it lowers the activation cost from 3cc to a much more affordable 2cc, it raises the toughness to 4(making it immune to Incinerate style burn) and even then it wouldn't have sent any shockwaves through constructed.


    This really shows how bad this card is. You increase it's stats three times and then it only becomes ok.

    Is it just me or does the draft decklists look like they'll do awesome against aggro? 0/3 for G, 0/5 for 1G, 5/5 for WGB. Seems like we should be able to devote a lot of space to beating control, whatever that would take.

    So I haven't played Magic in awhile but was thinking about giving it a go again when Lorwyn rotates in.

    When Lorwyn comes in does Ravnica, Guildpact, Dissension, and Coldsnap rotate out right?

    Also, if Ravnica block rotates out, we lose shocklands. Just curious as if there are any other T2 lands that count as more than one basic land type. If not, think this will hurt Flagstones?

    I already play a deck using Auratog along with Reality Acid, Flagstones, Hatching Plans, and Perilous Research. Too bad Hatching Plans and Perilous Research rotate when this rotates in Frown

    Hey everybody. I've just recently moved to a town that plays T2 much more than my previous town so I've been looking for a deck to play. I really liked a lot of the ideas in this thread so I set out to make my own list and have been testing it on MWS for awhile.



    This is what I am currently testing and has been working extremely well. The only cards I think about replacing are the Worships and that's probably only to the sideboard. If I remove the Worships maybe the Shielding Plax should go too but they do make Retethers better.

    There are times I wish I could run more Reality Acids because they are just so amazing.

    If anybody has any suggestions or comments on my list I'd love to hear them.
