    Hello all!
I've been interested in this archetype for a while and I'm finally going to build into it, could someone refer me to a good stock list that I could go off of?
    Thanks in advance!

Apologies for the double post, I thought the site had glitched again, it gave me a screen with just code for a second time and showed no post when I refreshed.

So I just wrote up a whole tournament report and the site glitched and lost 25 minutes of writing, so here's the long story short.
I played in a PPTQ and went 4-2 losing to bridgevine and mardu pyro. Missed top 8 on breakers. The store was also having a "mega modern" event right after the PPTQ which is 20 dollar buy in for 5 round swiss with cut to top 8, which I ended up IDing in the finals of. Here's the list:

    MB:
    4 snapcster mage
    2 teferi
    1 Jace, the mind sculptor
    2 search for azcanta
    2 think twice
    3 lightning bolt
    3 lightning helix
    4 path to exile
    2 electrolze
    2 supreme verdict
    4 cryptic command
    2 logic knot
    1 spell snare
    1 negate
    2 celestial colonnade
    3 field of ruin
    4 flooded strand
    4 scalding tarn
    2 hallowed fountain
    2 steam vents
    1 sacred foundry
    2 sulfur falls
    2 glacial forteress
    3 island
    1 mountain
    1 plains

    SB:
    2 dispel
    2 celestail purge
    2 ceremonious rejection
    1 surgical extraciton
    1 baneslayer angel
    1 wear // tear
    1 elspeth, sn's champion
    1 negate
    1 venidion clique
    1 settle the wreckage
    1 rest in peace
    1 stony silence

between events I made some SB adjustments:
    -1 surgical
    -1 settle
    -1 ceremonious
    +1 lyra dawnbringer
    +2 timely reinforcements

    PPTQ:
    Round 1: mirror match
I take it in two games fairly easily. 1-0
    Round 2: bridgevine
I get smashed, no contest. 1-1
    round 3:BW midrange
It was a brew so I took it in 2 pretty easily. 2-1
    Round 4: mardu pyro
went to 3 games, lost to blood moon + hard to deal with threats in games 2 and 3. 2-2
    Round 5: All in red
He takes game 1 off a turn 1 rabblemaster into blood moon, I win 2 and 3 after dealing with a couple threats each game. 3-2
    Round 6: affinity
I have all the right answers at all the right times. 4-2

I miss top 8 due to horrendous breakers.

    Mega modern:
    Round 1: esper goryo's
I grind him out with mild difficulty in 2. 1-0
    Round 2: faeries
His dory creatures vs my electrolyzes. 2-0
    Round 3: hardened scales affinity
He has bad hands both games and I have a lot of removal. 3-0

I double ID in to top 8 at 2nd seed.
    Quarters: Humans
new humans player sequenced poorly and kept sketchy hands, I take it in 2

    Semifinals: burn
I win game 1 with no helices cast somehow and cast 2 timely reinforcements and 2 helix in game 2 so I win

    Finals: Green tron
We ID because it is 1am and we're ready to go home, $70 in store credit

27 lands and no cantrips has worked out great for me and I'm in love with think twice, I appreciate any feedback.

Some cool lists from SCG events last weekend, including this one :

    https://www.mtggoldfish.com/deck/1131528#paper

11 creatures main deck with 3 TiTi, 2 keranos and 2 clique
Black splash for Kcommand and 1 cast down main and sideboard collective brutality and dreadbore
I'm actually pretty intrigued by this, having access to planeswalker removal is cool against all the jaces/teferis

I was just looking at this list while browsing possible builds for Vegas, let me know if you happen to try this because I'm thoroughly interested by this list and will be trying it. Also noticed it has a 12 card sideboard, so there is some obvious room for improvement there.

So I've been bouncing around from control deck to control deck in modern and after being away from this deck for about a year I have to say: I forgot how good if feels to blood moon unfair decks. I took the following list to my LGS's "Mega Modern" event (20$ entry fee w/cut to top 8) and went 3-2:

    4 Spreading seas
    4 serum visions
    2 opt
    4 lightning bolt
    1 abrade
    1 harvest pyre
    1 electrolyze
    1 anger of the gods
    1 entrancing melody
    3 blood moon
    1 spell snare
    2 logic knot[/card]
    3 cryptic command
    3 jace, the mind sculptor
    3 snapcaster mage
    1 torrential gearhulk
    1 vendilion clique
    1 pia and kiran nalaar
    4 scalding tarn
    3 flooded strand
    2 polluted delta
    1 misty rainforest
    2 sulfur falls
    2 steam vents
    1 desolate lighthouse
    7 island
    1 mountain

    SB:
    1 engineered explosives
    2 surgical extraction
    1 relic of progenitus
    1 ceremonious rejection
    2 dispel
    1 disdainful stroke
    1 negate
    1 abrade
    2 anger of the gods
    1 izzet staticaster
    1 pia and kiran nalaar
    1 entrancing melody

I lost to tron and the mirror, tron had natural tron 3 games in a row, and won in game 3 with a windmill slam all is dust to kill my jace, gearhulk, moon, and P&K, the mirror came down to a topdecked bolt otherwise we would've drawn. I beat RW taxes, GR tooth and nail and 4c death's shadow. I'd appreciate any criticisms on the list and fine tuning.

Most card choices were guesswork as I haven't played this deck in a while and I was going into a fairly unknown meta but man entrancing melody is the real deal and over-performed in the taxes and DS match-ups,3 jace is probably one too many but I love that card and it won me about 70% of the games I won. I originally had the SB EE in the main but felt awkward having it in the main with the ability to only put it on 0,1, or 2. After playing spreading seas in this build for the first time I will never cut below 4 when playing this shell, as it gave me the ability to hard-lock a couple people out and was good in catching an opposing desolate lighthouse. The SB surgicals didn't get sided in at all, making me question their place in the SB, and in hindsight I probably board them in against only dredge and storm, which I feel isn't enough for 2 SB slots for various reasons, so I'll probably end up cutting them for 1 keranos and 1 more relic.

This analysis is based off of theory-crafting and just the 5 matches I played and I'd appreciate any additional input!

Hey guys, new to building a legacy deck, however I've played with several borrowed decks in several weekly tournaments. I'm selling out of a decent amount of modern decks for a legacy deck potentially and I'd like advice on what to build. I enjoy grindy games as I play control decks and GBx decks in modern with the most enjoyment. I was thinking UW landstill or maybe jund, I'd enjoy reccommendations!

So I don't see much chatter on the tribal flames/might of alara version of this deck, so I decided to try it out myself and it overperformed. I ended up going 4-0 in a weekly, dropping one game all night. Here's the list:

    SB:

I'd enjoy any and all feedback on this list. Mostly interested in why people don't play this archetype very much (from what I've seen) as it seems viable.

Hey guys, kinda been on and off this control shell for a while but the printing of azcanta has convinced me to settle on UW for the foreseeable future. Just played the deck with azcanta for the first time last night and I was amazed at how good it felt! I'm hoping to streamline the last few cards in the maindeck and probably overhaul the SB (as I did throw that together last minute because I didn't think I'd get to go last night due to a prior commitment). Ended up going 3-1 with this list:

    SB:

Here's my inital thoughts after just 4 rounds of playing: MB 3 logic knots seemed way clunky so I'm probably going to shave one. Also the one ghost quarter will most likely become the 4th field of ruin, the field overperformed even though I didn't face any matchups that it was stellar in. Also 4 glacial fortress seems over the top, so I'd like to get another basic in place of it. Not sure about secure the wastes but I'm weary of it, I drew the card twice all night and both times it was on the last turn of the game, and neither time was it that card ending it. A few cards I'd like to fit in the MB are the 3rd azcanta and the 25th land, so after consideration the following changes will most likely take place: - 1 logic knot, -1 secure the wastes, -1 glacial fortress, +2 island (maybe 1 island, 1 plains), +1 search for azcanta.
SB: This was really thrown together and I'm not really well versed on the sideboarding that this deck currently does, but I'm most likely cutting RIP and adding surgical as well as a couple other touchups.
I appreciate any and all help with the deck!

Everyone's opinions on search for azcanta in this deck? I feel it is best suited in this shell in modern and I am very convinced it's going to be a presence in the meta.

Hey guys, I'm a fairly new GBx player gearing up for a 1k in a couple days and I'd like some sideboarding tips, both on what to put in my SB but also some common matchups and how to board for them. I have several years of experience in the format so I know a decent amount but some of the finer things I'm sure that I'm missing might win me an extra game or two and I'd greatly appreciate any help at all! I have a fairly stock MB with the following SB:

Hey guys, new to the deck and this thread, just wanted to get some thoughts on my list, it looks to be a little more all-in on the artifacts than most the lists I saw while scrolling through a couple pages. I also saw a couple people debating what high drop to run and batterskull came to mind, as we can cast, equip, and bounce it with grand architect's ability, just a thought though. Anyways, here's the list:

some explanation on numbers: the second throne and battlesphere are just put in instead of two etched champion because that card was completely underperforming for me. 21 lands I feel is optimal despite what others think, I've seen too many people get flooded out and me myself gotten flooded out too many times compared to not to think more than 21 is necessary, but adding in battlesphere might change that so we'll see. This is a pretty early on version hence the large amount of 4-ofs in the list. No academy ruins is due to (A) cost and (B) avaliblity, no shops near me have one and I got rid of my only one a couple months ago. I would also appreciate any SB help or overall tips experienced pilots could give as I am just learning the deck. Thanks!

They're all pretty bad. The best way is some form of land destruction + Fulminator, a quick clock and countermagic.

Obviously that's asking a lot, so you likely won't get it lots of the time.

that seems rough, right now I'm running 3 k command in the main and 2 fulms in the side, no surgical extraction. I thought of running some number of surgicals in the side for it since I could optimize my sb space but I don't even know how hard it would be to shore up that match, so I gave up on it

If tron and valkut decks are fairly relevant I'm a fan of crumble to dust, even if it is underwhelming against tron it permanently takes them off tron and their valkuts (assuming the valkut player exposes their valkut pre-combo) even if it is a little slow it can single handedly win the matchup

    Here's the earlier mentioned deck:

    Sideboard:

Any SB help is much appreciated, as I am new to the deck and the sideboard is pretty rough rn.
And my meta is all aggro with a couple midrange decks, I took 1st out of 32, here's a little report:

Round one: This guy was fairly new to magic, which I love to see more people getting into the game, especially modern. 2-0

Round two: Round one's brother, still kinda new to magic, but not as much, once again I love to see new people in the game, especially modern. 2-0

Round three: from here on out the rounds get harder, however my memory is a little fuzzy on this round as it has nearly been a week at this point, 2-0

Round four: Mardu control running a bit of a token theme with butcher and bitterblossom. Game one I resolved 2 ancestral visions on an empty board, easy game. Game two I resolved a single ancestral and beat down with tasigur after protecting him fairly aggressively so as to cut off my opponent's outs by minimizing draw steps

Round five: Pretty (foiled out) affinity. For having such a pretty deck I must say he had to read quite a few cards, I assume he borrowed the deck. All the spot removal in my deck really has it geared to beat afffinity brutally, and out of the board it just gets worse for him. 2-0

Ended up with 100% winrate -- my first ever after playing numerous control decks, very happy with this archetype!

I don't have the deck with me to post it right now, but I will later. I personally run 3 fatal push MB, also I find mana leak is very good in my meta because it is a lot of aggro.
