Tez is a serial mother stabber. Look it up in his bio, he shanks the moms of his enemies. There's a *****/mofo joke in there somewhere...but that's not why I mentioned it.

Why i mention it is because that is Chandra's mom on the card(obvi)and we already know that Chandra will be leading a revolt.

    I fear for Pia's life.

I'm gonna go off the wall sorta with Emrakul.

    Emrakul, the R.O.U.S
    12<><><>
    Emrakul can't be countered.
When you cast Emrakul scry 15.
    Flying, Hexproof
Whenever Emrakul attacks for the first time each turn, untap all creatures you control. After this phase, there is an additional combat phase.
    15/15

As you can see, she can't be countered like the original, scrying 15 "peering" through time and selecting the future. Flying and Hexproof because it is a big freaking flying spaghetti monster. And instead of taking extra turns, she takes extra combat phases instead. Mrs. Pasta Face needs to be 15/15 because I say so. Granted, my say so means nothing.

On the other hand, she could just have something like, "When you cast Emrakul, search your library for any number of Eldrazi creature cards with different names and put them into play. Flying Hexproof.

When she attacks, scry 15 of your opponents deck.

    No you cannot do both.

Sacrificing the creature is paying a cost. So the single sacrifice cannot pay for both. It is either one or the other.

Same goes for if an effect an opponent controls causes you to sacrifice a creature (ex: merciless executioner), you cannot sacrifice the scion to pay for the opponents effect and get the 1 mana. If you sacrifice the scion for mana at this point, you will get the mana and still need to sacrifice another creature.
