    so...

im rocking a bunch of new cards. 4x spatial contortion and 3x thought knots, and kozilek, 2x warping wail in the 75...

affinity is a joke now. ive been destroying them left and right...elves too. man.
i think U tron may be a "tier" deck now.

cant decide if crucible of worlds is worth a spot... we have squelch and even trickbind to save our lands. the tron crucible+GQ magic christmas land scenario seem like a meek point. whenever ive SBed it in, i havent drawn it so its hard to say, plus its tapping 3 mana at non-instant speed with no real board effect. at least its price has spiked $$$$ ca-ching!

waiting on my ulamog, but I think kozilek is a better fit for the deck. we have so many 1/2/3 drops to counter everything, but if you have an eye why not use both i guess.

    rock on blue tron.

I went 4-0 in last weeks modern out of 38 people.

Beat time warps. TWO merfolk decks and Abzan. 8-2 overall in games.

I keep thinking I want a second o stone ? Anyone else? Cracking one wins all the hard matches.

Similar thought with ugin. But he isn't good in like 35% of matches. But if you have one I think I makes sense to have a second since it's not tutor able.

I'll be on the ulamog , knot seer, contortion tester list. All are in the mail.

Interested in matter reshaper as well but haven't tried it.

Yeah I save for big stuff. But then just get blown out by ulamog turn 5 or so.

Maybe I'll try countering anything green too for the can trips to try and race.

I have thought of using trick bind instead of squelch to stop such triggered abilities.

If I am playing a deck with counters I generally don't play talismans unless I can risk them being countered.

They often go out on g2 vs white. And burn(less revelry targets and 1 Dmg from mana)

Otherwise if someone wants to waste artifact hate on them go ahead

Yeah I understand that just with new ulamog it seems like I can't outrace them before losing two lands.

Do people tend to use counters on sylvan scrying?
Ancient stirrings doesn't seem worth it

I've followed this forum and shock troopa stuff for a while. Play u tron in person, and also online as of more recently.

Got first at my local modern Monday this past week. 3-0-1
Beat burn. Bloom titan and some combo/twin brew tied junk.

    Few thoughts:

Talismans are great. Access to two blue sources without wasting a land drop. Thumbs up! I started with 25 land version and quickly switched.

I used to MB chalices but may not any longer. I would too often block a map that I needed. Chalice wins games though and often comes in.

Play it on one g1 vs burn if it's MB but only on two g2/3. Also I pretty much live and die by bottle gnomes vs burn.

Tolaria I finally cut. Two blue sources to use it and coming in tapped are too many drawbacks for this deck imo

Tectonic edge is better than gq. We want to be up on mana always, losing a land and Them not hurts. And if you already have tron assembled you're doing okay anyways

Silent arbiter finally came in handy for me and I may keep SB. But can't decide on batterskull.

Other note is that I can not beat RG tron at all. Thought about 2x spreading seas in SB but not sure if it's worth the spots
