I'm pretty sure thats what most of the current faeries decks look like. or if you feel cheeky you can put in 2 psionic blasts in place of the '2 removal of choice'.
Imperious perfect?
i think you need more wayfinders too. how bout wren's run packmaster? or even rhys, the exiled? they are warriors too. the point im trying to make is you need more warriors in your deck and less 1 drops
i think what this deck needs to do is to search out and play reaper asap (while ramping) and afterwards drop tons of scarecrows. the only thing that can search for reaper is primal command. i would suggest beseech the queen but reaper's cc is 10 which is insane. so maybe a green based multi colour ramp style deck is the best way to go?
i found the best way to deal with it.. is to not let it hit the table or steal it.. which means play blue... or clear the board.. which means black or white
if thats the case finks are much better as they dish out 3 dmg, after persist 2, and won't disappear after 3 turns. i suppose if you really need more lifegain the a few riftwatchers SB should be useful/. but for your case, based on your description finks are better
its really depends on your deck. a sample deck list would help us generate a clear idea for the purpose of your deck (be it life gain, combo/CA via lark, or beat down).
"Remember, you only need one combo piece to win. You draw your deck with Drifter during the combo if you do not have the Venser."
So that means you actually have to end the turn after you drew the venser/redcap right? coz you need it in your graveyard, so that would make gargadon resolve/CITP, so means you would then need to suspend another one on the next turn then combo off?
Sorry not so familiar with how the combo works with gargadon
You are right. normally what would happen when you dont have a 'finisher' you combo off with mull finding 1) a finisher and 2) another GG if you dont already have one. after that you suspend your new GG and move to the clean-up step. after discarding the relevant finisher you combo off on their upkeep (most likely for infinite dmg via redcap)
Maybe I'm missing something, but Soulstoke gives a +1/+1 to every other Elemental besides itself so at most you would need 2 at any given time.... your 2/2's are 4/4's and 3/3's are 5/5's. Your little 1/1's may die, but Reveillark will bring two of them back into play by either evoking it or putting one directly into play with the Soulstoke in response to a Firespout before it dies.
no you need 3. 2 soulstokes means that tyour lords are 3/3s.
firespout resolves dealing 3 dmg to all creatures, your stokes die and your fliers (most being 4/4s) take 3 dmg. after the stokes leave play the game notes that your fliers are 2/2s with 3 dmg, hence they also die.
if your opponent plays firespout without paying red to clear the stokes, he has made a mistake
just pointing out that your observation was wrong, but i am not convinced that stokes should be removed.... yet
From the text it says 'reveal'. so during your upkeep you reveal cards until you hit a none land card. it doesn't say draw. during your upkeep yoou draw the card on top of your library which is the none land card you revealed
no quite sure what situation your friend faced but this is what happens when it blocks :
Player A attacks with 2 creatures; one with toughness 2 and the other with toughness 3
Player B blocks both with Trio. now first strike dmg is assigned in which case Player B assign 2 dmg to the 1st creature and 3 dmg to the 2nd. if the creatures somehow survive then they may assign normal dmg to trio.
- 2 profane
- 1 land

you need lark, 2 BDs, a finks and a GG.
Sac lark bringing back 2 BDs. one copying lark and one copying finks. repeat process
edit: oops jaiminho's method is so much easier. lol
CC is pro black.

with out that its hard to say which is better
T1 : play it
T2: make a a 2/2 swing
T3 : make it a 4/4 swing
T4 & 5 : play creatures spells etc
T6 : 8/8 MONSTER
of course this is assuming you get it in your opening hand
and it does come into play tapped
