Yeah, I still agree that Spirits is no longer a good deck. U/W Midrange/Flash however has been successful so I'm focusing on that now.
The deck list the majority played for u/w spirits is the white blue flash deck being played now except thraben took mausoleum wanderers spot. Selfless spirit Rattlechains reflector mage spell queller avacyn and gideon were all played before. I still play wanderer over thraben inspector. Mausoleum wanderer grows. And I use it to counter spells on the first few turns. With smugglers coptor smoothing out my deck I don't feel the need for one extra clue. Plus the evasion is nice
While none of them made top 8 because of their draft records, the 4 best preforming standard decks of the Pro Tour were 2 different UW Flash variants with 4 each of Spell Queller and Selfless Spirit. All of the standard decks in the top 8 had worse records in the swiss than those 4. I would hardly call the archetype dead.
The deck that made the top 8 played rattlechains. I've been playing that list creature wise with the exception of mausoleum wanderer for thraben inspector. I play 2 Gideon's and two always watching. I also play 4 coptors. I'm glad it finally got some recognition Bc it is a great deck. Most of all it's fun watching people guess what I have every turn when I have mana open. Especially after I have five lands
The future is bright. The top 4 best decks of the whole tournament was blue white spirits pretty much with thraben inspector instead of mausoleum wanderer. I've played with and without reflector mage. I've played with and without Gideon. With and without coptor. I always do very well. This deck can go a few different ways as long as the core is the same. I love this deck. Very happy people will finally see how good it is
If you crew a vehicle with a creature and the kill the vehicle
The creature that crewed the vehicle die
Is that how that works for sure? I thought you tap a creature to crew a vehicle. If the vehicle dies or gets exiled, the creature stays tapped on the battlefield. So the creature would go under the vehicle and both get removed?
I think spirits held its own very well against the decks that he faced. After watching this I'm hyped and I'm confident that we have something good here
I used to run 4 clash of wills. Two weeks ago I started running 3 negates and one clash. It's been working well. I started playing magic about 9 months ago and I've played a lot of decks. After I started playing this when EMN released I don't want to play anything else. I'm really hoping this deck continues to be solid. What do you guys feel about 2 insidious will and 3 revolutionary rebuff?
Hey fellas. Went 3-1 again today with a loss from a crazy black blue Brew that I had no clue how to play. Beat B/w control, grixis control and esper control. I've been playing all creature decks lately and tonight happened to be a change. I agree with you guys that green is probably not the best color to splash. Blue seems like a better splash. Man lands, silimgar, and maybe even a few negates. The third color was just for a few man lands and radiant flames. Even though I've had great success with RBG(16-4), I think I'm going to cut green and see how it goes. Maybe I can also cut a land or two. I can just play more languish instead of flames. the game I lost today was because I couldn't get a second red source in game one. Second game he sideboarded infinite obliteration and drew three and exiled all my creatures. Rough game. I'm praying we get some good cards in this new set. That new emrakul looks tough
I tried jund reanimator with 4 necromantic summons and 2 ever after. It was the first deck I played starting rotation to keep the dragon deck alive. It was a lot of fun. One ever after and maybe a dark Petition in sideboard or two ever after would be cool. I don't have many atarkas main but the kologhan giving thunderbreak or gdd haste is nice. For control I bring in the firecrafts, duress and transgress. It's definately a winnable matchup. The three losses I have are all to control decks. I've won about that many as well. Considering half the meta is creatures, this deck sits nice. The past 4 weeks I'm 13-3 and FNMs.
I also like 2 kalitas in sideboard. I was just tired of them getting killed and getting no value. They do work well when they get going. There are enough kill spells. I like the main deck without them. The best is when someone tries a collected company and kolaghan is on the field and they can't reflector Mage him bc there is one in graveyard. Has happened more times than one would think. Most of the time it can get played around. I've attacked with regent on turn 5. They've taken damage. Opponent will collected company wot. Bounce regent. That's 7 damage. Then I'll languish right after. A lot of fun lately.
This is my first post on this site. I've been reading the forums for 6 months. I tried card tags but am computer illiterate. When I started playing, my first deck was Esper dragons and then I tried 4 color rally. Both decks were very hard for me. I found Tom Ross RB Dragons list and fell in love. I only got to play it for a month and since Storms fury rotated out, I've been concocting lists for the past two months. I love dragons and I love RB. I've been checking in on this forum every few days to see what's up. This will probably be my only post but I wanted to show you guys a deck list. In the past four weeks I went 3-1, 3-1, 3-1 and last night finally took first place at 4-0. I was messing around with Thunderbreak into reality smasher into kologhan. Olivia into thunderbreak. I tried out so many different variations. Dozens and dozens of games with each version. This is the version that has found really nice success. It has really good match ups against creature decks. Bant humans, mono white humans, company decks. Control is a toss up. Overall strong deck and a lot of fun. In the end I went with what will give me the most value when killed or bounced back or blinked. Regent and dark dwellers I will get something out of even if killed. Olivia was just getting killed and I was behind then. I splashed green just because I wanted radiant flames and a manland. It sucks having 7 mana and no creatures. I have one atarka also. It can be castes without green due to Haven of the spirit dragon but good luck with that. Keep the board clean early and drop creatures. Supposedly that's a tried and true tactic. Here the list is.

I even foiled out the whole deck. with expeditions and all because I'm gung ho on this deck until October. I believe in it and it performs. Also fun to watch people's face when they get hit with a deck that they thought was done with. Message me if anyone has any questions.

There's also another azorius deck at 24 points. 5 decks at 24 points and better. That's huge
