Paradise Garden
Land T: Add 1 to your mana pool.
Threshold - T: Add 1 mana of any color to your mana pool. "Yeah, it takes a while to bloom, but the flowers are worth the wait, don't you think?"
Blink_Your_Dead - Mind's Outcome
Definitely fair and balanced. Definitely should be a red card.
Spreadingdark - Necros, Gate Back To Life
Fantastic concept, clearly intended to combo with things that sacrifice your own creatures... and therefore the potential is there for it to be self-destructive. Can't decide if it's too cheap or just right.
Erikcu - Moment Of Judgement
This is Desert Twister, except better in two ways. I also do not like the split colored cost of this card - how is this a white effect?
TS-Skybreaker - Whirlwind of Locusts
Fairly powerful card... I think I might have upped the casting cost by 1 or so. I'd have no trouble with the balance if it were -1/-1 and cheaper, or even -2/-1... -2/-2 is a pretty heavy blow to deal to someone's army for only four mana (best comparisons I can think of are Holy Light and Engineered Plague.) But I do like the creativity and the flavor of it.
WhisperedThunder - Hell Rising
This strikes me as a card that there *must* be a good way to break, but I'm damned if I can think what it is. Still, it can't be more powerful than Living Death or other stupidly overpowered black spells of that casting cost range. I like the game mechanic... not certain I think it matches the card name exactly.
Epock - Tectonic Drift
Chaotic yes, and fulfills the round's requirement. I've yet to see an actual card in Magic that refers to a player in terms of seating order. Best combo I can think of for this is Zuran Orb.
Voila! - Avarice Wand
Hmmm... this plus a Naturalize equals a cheap, unbreakable Confiscate, but I don't think that's a huge problem, spending two cards to gain control of one. I like the way this card might play in a big multiplayer game.
Seryph - Reins of Rage
This is balanced and well designed - without paying the echo cost, it's still effectively a Ray Of Command, which is within red's power. I don't like the card as much as some of the other ones posted here, but I have to admit, this is probably the most "properly" thought-through card in this round..
Ace - Ensured Payment
Expensive, but balanced, I think. Creative, too. I hate Storm but I'm not going to let that bias the card against me; this is still better than the middle of the pack.
Lgmhorus - Uncontrolled Automathon (sp?)
Great idea for a card - two spelling mistakes (I think?) in its execution. I'd find a way to use it myself, but I dunno how many others would... Circle Of Protection: Artifacts maybe...?
FINAL STANDINGS Winner: Seryph. Second place: Voila! Honorable Mentions: Lgmhorus, Spreadingdark, TS-Skybreaker
