Natural Connection is another mana ramp spell you can run. You want to make sure if you're running a lot of ramp spells you have enough basic lands to always hit.

Can always just add mana ramp spells. Thin the deck out so you hit less lands. It might work, i just don't see that card being good. personally

Inspiring Statuary seems like a bad choice for this deck. I think marvel, I think of big cards you wouldn't normally cast and have huge impact on the board. Aetherwind Basker Would do this. ETB would give you some E back from the marvel activation. If your running the Temur version still with Whirler Victuoso's, even more energy.

With Reflector mage also banned, Ulamog, the ceaseless Hunger will work just fine. Only so many removals in the game currently that can deal with this indestructible titan.

Without Smuggler's Copter to worry about, Ishkanah, Grafwidow will either be a sideboard or removed all together.
But what would take the place? another Eldrazi Titan? Kozilek seems pretty underwhelming currently. Since you are casting with the marvel, might be worth thinking about?

I really want Harness the storm in a top deck to be a thing

So does the Temur build is the new trend ? Is it superior to Naya ?

Naya works very well to counter other Marvel decks. Sigarda and nahiri remove a lot of threats.

Galvanic Blast is one of the first cards going out against Marvel, so bringing in targets for Galvanic Blast won't hurt you at all.

Which guide you taking that from? Servants and Whirlers in the Temur lists and they remove Galvanic bombardments in game 2??

I would not bring in tireless trackers VS this type of a control deck. They are for sure running Galvanic Bombardments and harnessed lightnings. Just giving them prime targets and to get extra energy for their D-Towers. Dispels, negate, world breaker, Natural State/Appetite for the Unnatural. I personally run the Appetite for the Unnatural so I can hit gearhulks and marvels(this what i see at my LGS) VS control I wouldnt take out any planeswalkers. Big chandra puts threats on the board every turn they have to deal with. I almost never take our all 4 of my lightnings against decks that run gearhulks. I would like to be able to kill them.

I normally bring in counter magic VS control to protect my strong cards. I run dispel and negate in sideboard. Also bring in tireless tracker, world breaker, another copy of ulamog. Cast triggers can and will win you games.

I think like me you have been siding whirlers out a lot, i've been considering just scrapping them altogether.

I've seen them being sideboarded out against aggro, but I think that's where they shine the most. So often they help me to stabilize against aggressive decks so I can activate my Marvel Aetherworks before even going to single digit life points. I just love them. Also, they're good against control. They provide a somewhat reliable threat so they can't just wait for your Marvel Aetherworks to counter it and then sit on their Torrential Gearhulk to do it again. The mere existence of Whirler Virtuoso forces them to keep a certain amount of removal in their deck.

What I'm getting at is that I see Whirler Virtuoso being sideboarded out much more often than I think they should.

Big reason to take it out vs control decks, game 2 is because they either start with 2 or 3 board wipes in the main or will board in more for game 2. That is the main reason I remove them VS control.
Kozilek's Return better at stabilizing VS aggro than the Whirler. casting from graveyard is extremely nice as well.

I like they so far in the main board mainly because it forces them to keep their Radiant Flames in the deck(if they run them) and maybe bring in more removal. I am not sure exactly what I would replace them with.

Also, if you bring in Kozilek's Return, you don't want to be producing the 1/1 thopters, that's my thought on it anyway. The control decks all run radiant flames and fumigates main/sideboard.

    - 4 Whirler Virtuoso
    + 2 Kozilek's Return
+ 1 Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger
    + 1 World Breaker

If anyone has a better sideboard guide vs the current meta, feel free to post it. Naya seems good, but only if you know your facing other Marvel decks. My LGS all run aggro or control decks. I thought this was a good set up.

Only 14 cards have been spoiled so far for the next set, but among them is Oath of Ajani This might allow this deck(or some version of it) to come back to standard as a top deck.

Can't wait to see what other cards are also coming. Turn 3 Gideon is fun

Please don't discuss spoiled cards outside of Standard New Card Discussion until the entire set is spoiled. Thanks! -- Lugger
