Reminds me of last year when I thought the same about the Atraxa deck. I'd think wizards would print more decks this year right?

Do you think wizards will print more decks this year, enough for prices to become steady?

I'm looking to preorder the commander 2017 decks this year for my playgroup but it seems like places either ran out or are charging more than MSRP. Do you think the prices will eventually drop or not? This situation reminds me of last years Atraxa deck where everyone went crazy for them and people were sure prices would even out but it didn't. Which deck do you think will be this years must have deck?

Maybe if everyone is unhappy have a group talk. In my playgroup I used to play infect all the time and everyone hated it. Overtime I saw how it made people unhappy and I decided to play different mechanic/themes.

You should look at the Youtube Channel "Budget MTG Decks", they have some pretty competitive budget decks. I currently use the Sigarda deck with a few minor tweaks and I do alright.

Hello fellow Planeswalkers! My playgroup plays mostly commander because we love how everything plays out, the heart racing wins/loses. The first set we ever got was the commander 2016 set and we've added onto our collection with commander anthology. For commander anthology I picked Heavenly Inferno with Kaalia of the Vast because I like her backstory. In most games I have played with Kaalia she doesn't stand up so well to the other decks. I saw the spoilers for the upcoming commander 2017 set and it seems like a good opportunity to combine Kaalia with a tribal commander 2017 deck. My question is would it be smarter to leave Kaalia as a stand alone deck and upgrade it or combine her with an upcoming commander 2017 deck?

Thank you all for the feedback it is much appreciated. Seems like I can't get breed lethality atm, so which preconstructed commander deck do you guys recommend in its place?

I read in another forum that Target and Walmart might have it so I checked today, they had every commander deck except breed lethality. The good news is they sell every deck at MSRP but they don't do rain checks on those items and they couldn't tell me when the vendor will stock. I am left with either visiting my Walmart and Target frequently and hoping they will have it or paying $50 online.

Does anyone know how long it will take until the supply catches up with the demand? Will the price always be this high? I don't want to pay $50 and see the price drop back down to $35.

I'm trying to find a commander 2016 breed lethality deck for a gift but can't find one. I checked my local gaming stores and not only are they sold out but the wait list is crazy long. I checked some online stores and the deck runs around $50, I would only pay that amount as a last resort. How come this deck is so sought after? Is the demand for this deck outweigh the supply that much? When will the price drop back down to normal?

It seems like all the other 2016 commanders can win except Stalwart.

What's the point of this deck to group hug if it can't win?

Hello! I'm new to the site and the commander format. My friends and I wanted to jump into commander and bought the 2016 reconstructed commander set. We rolled to decide the order in which we pick decks, I got last pick and was left with Stalwart Unity. We have played several games thus far and the results leave me bitter towards the deck. I like the group hug aspect of the deck but at a certain point when everyone else has big baddies on the field I just have things to stall. It seems that I lack cards to help me challenge bigger creatures or even win games. I heard your suppose to group hug to make your opponents fight each other and be the last man standing but the opposite happens to me where I become the focus of everyone's attacks. Out of the majority of games we have played I'm usually eliminated first. Is there a better way to playing the deck? What are some budget friendly upgrades I could do to at least be competitive? Any advice on improving the deck would help me a lot.
