I think Mace is given too much credit. Many of these force powers require great concentration, and he is a biological creature that cant endlessly defend himself. Mega Man doesnt get tired, and heals from energy, which he could possibly get from the millenium falcon.

My verdic: Mega man defeats Mace via a endless onslaught that Mace would inevitably be rendered unable to defend against because of he is a biological creature and would tire. Marv and Harrison Ford are not even a factor. Solo in the millenium falcon is a joke, since he cant fire weapons and pilot at the same time. So at best he can run away therefore still losing. (Running away until the other contestants die is not winning imo)

@the comments saying a Jedi can sense Link wearing the magic cape is wrong. The MAGIC cape would obviously shroud Link from ALL forms of sense including the force. It is a magic cape after all. Plus Link has always used everything at his disposal to defeat his enemies, why would he hold back in a death match with a Jedi.

I would have to go with link on this one. This reminds me of a Batman VS. Superman fight. Yes superman has infinitly more power than Batman, but Batman has the tools in which to defeat Superman. Link is crafty and if he uses EVERY item and power at his desposal he could overcome a Jedi (except the end all powerful ones).

Also, as the Hero of Time, Link has much more power than it looks on the surface.

This is my very short imaginary summary of a fight between lets say Yoda and Link from Link to the past.

Yoda throws some force stuff at link. Like shoots the fire and ice rod at yoda. Neither is effective. Yoda starts jumping high distances trying to use terrain to defeat link. Link uses his dash boots and hookshot to keep up. Finally after exausting many of there tricks yoda decides its time to end the fight. Link realizing that he is outmatched, readies the ace up his sleeve. Yoda prepares for the final strike. Link puts on the magic cape rendering himself invisible and easily slays Yoda while he is confused and unprepared for a move such as that.

    OR

Any Jedi enters the Collusium while Link enters with the magic cape o(therefore invisible). The jedi patiently awaits his opponent which he believes hasn't show up yet. Link of course has snuck behind the jedi and freezes him with the Ice rod, following up with a blow from the magic hammer that shatters the frozen jedi into thousands of pieces.

So what we have learned today is that the Magic cape>all

Possible associated cards from Future Sight
    • Goldmeadow Lookout (the only spellshaper that mentions another card that doesn't exist yet)
    • Mistmeadow Skulk (Boggarts are mentioned in the flavor text)
    • Fomori Nomad (In Irish mythology, the Fomorians, Fomors, or Fomori (Irish Fomóiri, Fomóraig) were a semi-divine race who inhabited Ireland in ancient times.)
    • ******Boldwyr Intimidator (anagrams in "Lorwyn Rabid to Timid" or "Lorwyn tidbit di Maro") *****
Instead of rabid to timid. Do timid to rabid. I think lorwyn will focus on a "timid" bright world. Then followed up by more violent "rabid" darker themed world.

    @Belgereth

Overall I think your judgings were on the spot. Except one thing you said my card would be fine costing B.

My card would be very overpowered at one mana. It actually started at one casting cost, but after I tried it in an actually game it turned out to be to strong. This is how it goes.

In a black aggro deck at one mana

Over-extend into a wrath effect, with only Demonic Teachings in hand.

draw a card, its a swamp, play swamp, cast Demonic teachings, draw a card return it to your hand, its a creature, play the creature, cast Demonic Teachings, draw a card, its a creature return it to your hand, pass turn with both a creature and and demonic teachings in your hand. Rinse and repeat.

I tried it at two cost, but I was still a little worried about it in control decks. They can really abuse the repeatable card draw.

It was probably ok at two but I decided to go the safe route at put it at three.

edit: I dont want a revision or anything, I just wanted to point out that.

I'm not a giant Final fantasy fan...I used to be. I dont feel like discussing the ones before seven because they are all really good games (cept one, but that has its own merits).

7: The first time I play it I thought it was the coolest game ever. After the first excitement the game is still pretty good. At first I thought sephiroth was hands down the best villian ever. But after time I started to hate his character, that took away from the game for me.

8: I liked eight. Its not the best but its not the worst either. It has redeeming qualities, dont ignore them. Triple-triad no joke is enough to make that game great. One of the biggest problems with FF's is the long stretches of repetitiveness. Triple-triad allowed a player to take a break, and actually have fun for however long you wanted. Also it set a higher standard for side quests. FF 8 had a ton of side quests, and they were fun/interesting. Like finding the alian that looks like a pilsberry dough boy.

9: I have a hard time talking about this game. It sucked me in, but betrayed me. I had fun with it at first, but after a while, I hated every character. The story stopped being interesting. I say its definately in the bottom tier.

10: Ten was a great game. Good story, good gameplay, great graphics. I personally didnt like the story, but it was good from an objective standpoint. I think the main character sucked for a majority of the game though. Too whiney imo.

11: Not the same type of game. All I'll say is that it shouldnt have recieved the number 11.

12: Bad game in regards to any RPG. Terrible when compared to Final fantasy 3-6. I mean this game has almost no character development. The story is dry, and doesnt make the player care or feel involved. Plays like an MMO without the benifits. Battles were boring. The environment didnt play enough of a role in the free range, non intanced battles. I also thought the voices acting was very poor. In the end I most times while I play I was thinking, "who cares about your character, I sure dont"

Why even discuss a deck's viability post ravnica thats not until october. This seems like a casual deck/strategy to me. Its to easy to disrupt, and requires to many cards. Even after rav rotates, there is still so many ways to disrupt this combo.

Draw a card, then lose one life.
Hellbent -- Draw one card, then return ~ back to its owners hand.

If the player that casts it hellbent style, then I want it to return to that players hand. Is that how this should be worded?

    Thanks for any help.

WOW, I just noticed how bad my title looks. Oops.

Pickles is far to slow to compete with the discard. In that match-up you rely less on the rack winning the game and more on creature beats. You send all you discard at them, lay some guys and beat, you should be fast enough.
