    (1) that atheists and theists alike are subject to the same biology and God. By that I mean that if God exists, he created atheists and theists. If God doesnt exist, then all the traits of theists and atheists came purely deterministically through survival advantage/selection. Sometimes when I hear these ethical moral debates between theists and atheists, the arguments feel muddled, and arguments on both sides take on a weird subtext that atheists' ethics came from deterministic laws, and theists ethics came from God's decree.

This is exactly right. Few people understand the Shroedinger's Cat experiment that is Faith Vs. Science. The truth cannot ever be observed without ending the experiment (which in our case is life/existence).

No song makes me happy. I revel in hatred, rage, and pain.

So you listen to Creed and Nickleback very often then?

If target opponent has controlls a Sliver permanent you may Fateseal 5 instead.
Although they suffered many casualties at first the mages of New Daru soon began employing vedalken countermagic against the sliver horde.

    Ooops....

    Name: Ma'yot
    Age: Looks around 23
    Gender: Male
    Race: Human
    Height: 5’ 11”
    Weight: 155

Appearance: Ma'yot is of average height with a muscular build and aristocratic features. He is always wearing clothes of the highest quality and holds himself in the highest opinion. His fingers have numerous rings of high value, one of which appears to be a large signet ring except the signet has been all but burnished off and to the untrained eye it is but a wide, flat, gold ring. He usually reacts with anything between boredom and disdain toward anyone below his station...unless they have something to offer him, in which case he can be extremely charming.

Also if one reads the Phyrexian Field reports on magicthegathering.com they tell you that the Dross is the oldest form of the glistening oils corruption. Therefore it would only make sense that Sheolred is moirok+something. I'm reminded of Tsabo Tavoc alot also but, oddly, with more organic components.

I'm going to pick this last post apart a bit for all of you because this thread is one of the biggest displays of stone-throwing-in-glass-houses (or pots-calling-kettles-black if you prefer) if I have ever seen one.

@Nis: this has nothing to do with you personally, your post was just the most recent on this thread.

    Quote from Nis
Because very few words are one letter. Also, contractions are a stylistic choice; We could avoid them entirely, like Data on Star Trek, if we wanted to.

First, contractions are not a style choice. They are, in fact, improper grammar. They are acceptable in day to day communication because speaking without them in English makes sentences long and somewhat haughty. One does not use contractions in professional or scholarly papers or situations. Second, one always capitalizes after a semi-colon, but one should also use the term "one" for conditional statements. Third, you missed quite a few commas, throughout your post.

    Quote from Nis

Are you trying to shortcut the word queue, meaning a line, or cue, meaning either a pool stick or a time to do something. Or maybe you're shorting the word question much like in Q&A. Context of course could make your use of simply Q obvious but that again depends largely on your intended audience and medium.

This whole paragraph has poor syntax, so attempting to correct its errors in punctuation and sentence construction would be pointless. For the record, however, one should not begin a sentence with the word 'or.'

I do not disagree with what you are saying though. I believe that using single letter words is absolutely ridiculous. Spelling, punctuation, grammar and word placement are essential to communication. Sadly, true grammarians are becoming more rare as proper language skills become less important in our culture. I explain to you that cheese is actually mostly empty space and everything that you perceive about the cheese is first processed by your brain and is therefore subjective. You having the cheese is only because you think you have the cheese. This complex theory causes so much confusion and doubts about the truth of what you call reality that your head explodes.

I now have the mass of matter we call "cheese" in my possession.

Kahedron is banned for not banning johnthemaster for telling me to put spaces after my ellipses (thats plural for ellipsis) which is a totally different punctuation mark from a period and does not require spaces after it.
