Ok i will agree with that, thank you. another question then, i see that most if not all versions still run cabal therapy, why not thoughtseize if we are not worrying about our life total, i have thought (have not tried yet) that it is the better option, if you have to use the tarnished citadel and thoughtseize you might be hurting but you do not have to name a specific card and it could be done on turn one to see what the opponent is playing and remove the most logical threat,
ok part two, and i might get flamed for this question but has anyone tried Primal forcemage in their deck? it is a trick i used in MGA & R/G Aggro, drop him and swarm out a bunch of hasty creatures, with that you would only need to go off for 5-6 tokens from the bridge and the Flame-kin Zealot
hi guys, just had a land question, i am building the tcg player.com version of dread, and thought their had to be better land to play than tarnished citadel, and thought that Forsaken City, or Forbidden Orchard, just wanted to get some opinions on this.
So like i said i came in 3rd, i like the deck it is powerful and i played some good decks Elves(2-1 win), Merfolk(2-0 win), and Mannequin.dec(0-2 total loss) and had a lot of fun, when i get some cards i will change it a little
i think it wold work because you would stack the way the enchantments are attached? i am not a rules guru but that sounds right.
i would drop
1 daybreak coronet
1 spirit loop
@ 1 regeneration
for 3 O-rings
they are enchantments and they will stop your opponent from hurting you so much
its a fun card if you have a lot of draw, i run a deck that has hoofprints and shadowmage infiltrator, and a lot of bounce (venser, cloudskate)and counters(cancel/fae trickery, rune snag), its a lot of fun to play and annoying to play against, it is not top tier but could get you into a top 4 at a random fnm if the cards fall right.
personally i would use edge of autumn insted of rampant growth, in the later game it still has something to do. the wall of roots is a good idea. i don't like the fact that they are all x spells because Mr.Gaddok Teeg eliminates your game, but if he is not present in your meta go for it.
p.s. tarmagoyf is never to big to kill with an x spell especially because all you have is sorcery and artifacts, so it will only be like a 3/5 or something
ive got one, centaur omenreader and springleaf drum, so not only do your creature spells cost 2 less but you have one mana in your pool to start with. its not relay a combo but more of a useful interaction for any big costing deck.
Stomping Slabs & thrumming stone, how will this stack, do you take the top 7 cards and then the top 4 cards after that? or can you choose which order to stack them? how would the damage work and if you find a stomping slabs with the thrumming stone instead of the slabs?? looks like an interesting combo for a direct damage deck.
you have probably already thought of this but what about momentary blink?, that resets your cumulative upkeeps and can abuse your Keldon marauders. pay no attention to its flashback cost!!
actually i put the rhox in place of the krosan cloudscrapper because the KCS is a worse card than either of the other cards, it has a lot of power but it dose not have trample or any type of evasion, it has morph (ugh!) not good in this deck, what i am going to do is put the black in their and add grave pact (1 or 2 of them) and i might change the avatar of might for the avatar of woe.
so as i was driving home from work yesterday i was thinking i would like to use deathrender in a deck, and what better way to use it than to make a deck that has creature costs that you would usually not want to pay, so i made this big green deck
ok part two, and i might get flamed for this question but has anyone tried Primal forcemage in their deck? it is a trick i used in MGA & R/G Aggro, drop him and swarm out a bunch of hasty creatures, with that you would only need to go off for 5-6 tokens from the bridge and the Flame-kin Zealot
