is there any reason to run jace in this deck other than killing opposing jace? Ingenuity, see beyond and preordain are plenty of card draw by themselves. Plus all the burn/into the roil takes care of any threat just fine.... Except Gaeas revenge that is.

unsure what to put here
some amount of skin renders and sadistic sacraments as well as revoke existence, but not really sure of how many and what else to put in.

Notes:
Jace is really good. In the article, it says that people want 4 mana spells to win them the game, but they don't realize how high a correlation he has. It's like cruel ultimatum was in lorwyn-shards standard - it might as well say "you win the game", but they couldn't quite write that on the card.
I have almost never drawn with the library. It might be how I play, but it almost never happens.
Yawgwill makes me happy whenever I play it.
I'm still holding judgement on timetwister.
I have been playing this list for a little while now and I have found that Strip has been better for me that Library. I also very rarely have drawn any cards with it. I feel like this deck is far more aggressive than other oath lists and so the slower cards like library and twister are not as good.
I have cut the twister for a reclamation and sphinx for an inkwell since it cant be bounced with jace or plowsheared. Also the hurkyls recall I have changed for a rebuild since this deck already gets crushed by chalice on 2, no reason to have the answer cost 2 as well.
I will be playing this at the vintage tourney at shuffle and cut on the 19th here in so-cal. I will make sure to take lots of notes and post a report.
Most of the cards being reprinted haven't been reprinted/functionally duplicated in 9+ years, the only exception to this being Unsummon.
9 years is a LONG time and, to date, none of these cards have been remade during that 9 year period- if anything, it's more surprising it's taken Wizards to bring these cards back than to say they're mean and not coming to my birthday for reprinting them at all. Particularly cards like Worldly Council, Might of Alara and the Pro-Bears, which were all tournament staples to some degree while they were legal. (HOW MANY OF YOU REMEMBER YAVIMAYA BARBARIAN BEING THE LAST MAN STANDING AGAINST A RAMPAGING PSYCHATOG? HOLY CRAP!)
The "functions the same or similarly" cards are, guess what, new cards. Icy Manipulator never had White in its cost and Disrupting Scepter was never only really playable in Mono-Black decks. Swords to Plowshares was never the best card to see in your all-out aggro deck. I also don't remember Man-o-War being functional with Riptide Lab or bouncing an ultimate-ready Chandra. I always had to pay mana for my Fellowar Stone.
10 reprint or near reprints in a small set is, let's not mix words, a lot. 6% of a spoiled set, still leaving room for other functionally identical reprints, is at least sizable when you're cracking packs looking for cool, new and innovative cards. However, to reiterate, these cards haven't been reprinted for some time and, on the back of Lorwyn, some of the new creature types may even be relevant with the inclusion of the Pro-Bears.
Are there a lot of reprints? Considering the set's small size, yes. Is it too many for the set's good? All things considered, no.
AMEN!!! So far the reprints/near reprints have all seem very balanced and well placed in this set. The Pro bears are going to be really good for limited and probably even good for block. The scepters are all well designed and seem more balanced than their colorless counterparts. I just dont understand why everyone seems so upset when R&D seems to have done an elegant job building this set so far.
