If you think collected company is "toxic" in modern you are just not very good at this game, there isnt even a collected company deck thats considered T1 right now.
ill be running list similar to yours tomorrow at fnm. the difference is gonna be -1 kopala, -1 MoW -1 reejeree +2 smugglers thopter +1kira. we will see how it goes.
1) Just go play an eternal format then? why remove a format a lot of people like just because you cant use the same card forever in a rotating format, nothing is stopping you from using your standard deck in modern or legacy when it rotates out. But i hear you saying "i can't do that i'll get destroyed by constructed decks" well yeah you will but that what would happen in your new format too, a new player is gonna come in buy packs from the latest set, make a deck and then promptly get destroyed by affinity or reanimator decks or wtv.
3) what constitute "bad" cards varies alot depending on format (sealed, standard, modern, legacy etc) and how it interacts with other cards within a set and outside of it. It's really naive to just say "stop printing bad cards" when some cards go unnotice for years before someone builds a deck around them. Only way to only print "good" cards is have cards that only work super closely with other cards in the same set but that completely kills deckbuilding.
4) thats pure speculation and i disagree, you need those downtimes to be able to refine your decks, if theres always new cards to try out you never have time to properly build your deck.
i dont see how we have space in our list for 2 kira + 2 kopala without cutting lords or interaction.
