I don't know how I feel about this card being in modern. It's begging to be broken.

I do have a question on wording if anyone can help. Why is this card worded this way and not "Sacrifice a creature: Target player puts the top X cards of their library into their graveyard, where X is the sacrificed creature's power."?

That would be my opinion. And just like @headminerve said, you'd probably want to run 4x Blossoming Defense

So the new card from MH1 seems to have quite the potential

    "Scale Up" G
    Sorcery (Uncommon)
Target creature you control becomes a green Wurm with base power and toughness 6/4 until end of turn.
Overload 4GG (You may cast this spell for its overload cost. If you do, change its text by replacing all instances of "target" with "each".)

It enable t2 wins with only 2-3 cards assuming you can put Glistener Elf T1 and they have no blocker or response.
    T1: Glistener Elf
T2: Scale Up + (Groundswell or Might of Old Krosa or Mutagenic Growth + ( Mutagenic Growth or Blossoming Defense or Rancor ))

I feel this is insta 4 of in the deck. Thoughts?

So glad infect gets a new tool. Maybe enough to push the archetype to trier 1. This plus many other +4 is gg assuming no blocks
    T1: Glistener Elf
T2: Scale Up + (Groundswell or Might of Old Krosa or Mutagenic Growth + ( Mutagenic Growth or Blossoming Defense or Rancor ))

    Beware broken dual land incoming

    Broken Land
    Land - Forest Island
( T: Add G or U to your mana pool.)
When CARD NAME enters the battlefield, search your graveyard, hand, and library for all cards named CARD NAME and exile them. Then shuffles your library.

Just got my shipping confirmation. PA to CO.
Regarding the foil sheets, I doubt the JAP alt arts are included, though it would've been sweet.

eBay confirmed yesterday that it was only 12k units. The first listing only sold around 7k boxes judging by the quantity listed on the subsequent listing.
I don't know the inner working of the payment system and how eBay is deciding who gets their order but my guess is the first 7k fully paid orders without issues got them. The remaining being from the second listing.

if you guys don't mind me asking, at what time did you place your orders? Just want to know how are they resolving this, is it calculated or just random

In my case, I tried using PayPal at 1:01 but PayPal just didn't want to work with me so I had to use my credit card and was done by 1:04

Just want to provide the other side of the coin, an email for those who got their order in.

    "Hello!

Congratulations! Yesterday, Wizards of the Coast launched the exclusive Magic: The Gathering War of the Spark Mythic Edition card set on their eBay Hasbro store. Twelve thousand booster boxes sold out almost instantly, and we’re excited (though not as excited as you!) that your order is confirmed.

We’ll begin shipping these sets soon, so keep an eye on your inbox for a shipping confirmation. In the meantime, please reach out to 866-540-3229 if you have any questions about your order."

So this is the only way to truly confirm that you got your order.

I might be a bit sad if they up but I doubt that will happen. The only reason Glimpse is that expensive is because the supply is extremely low which IMA should, hopefully, address.

Imagine my surprise when I found out my $3.5 Surgical Extractions became $20 a piece.

Anyone have any idea how low will Glimpse the Unthinkable drop? I just sold a playset for $21 each expecting them to settle at around $10 or so. I sure hope I didn't screw myself over.

Anyone know if Fraying Sanity is seeing modern experimentation? It seems really good and there was a huge spike in price over this weekend on it. I think anyone playing Modern probably figured out Solemnity pretty fast, but if that guy is taking off I think I'm going to go grab the mill staples because that card looks like it just brought the T4 KO mill deck into existence.

Fraying Sanity is turning into a more "build around me" card with experimental shells in both UBx and UGx. Still no consensus on how the card should be played, OTK with Traumatize vs. control variation of UBx. Regardless, I don't see any of the mill staples going up. After all, the only expensive cards in mill are Glimpse the Unthinkable and the manabase. One last thing, a single reprint is enough to crash any one single mill staple.

    The artist put up the full art of all six arts together;
    https://twitter.com/vproceart/status/884617537358635008

It is indeed Bolas carving his victory over the gatewatch.

I like how it shows everyone's defeat, shame you can't actually see any of that in the card art.
regardless, another $200+ down the drain for me.

Well, the first one i encounted were actually no holo stamps at all, but the image of the holostamps was printed onto the card. You spot it as soon as you have the cards in hand, but a friend bought them over ebay, and due to the light on the photos you couldn´t tell. Easy to spot.

The Second one are real Holo-Images, but not from wizards. They just tagged some random holosticker on it, either with an emty holo-backround with no image in front, or with some random image, not a magic symbol. but again, too many people just look if its there, and don´t check itself.
Also easy to spot, if you spent more than a passing glace on them.

Last the ones you mentioned, getting of a holostamp and tagging it to another card. But it the card themself is clearly fake, that isn´t that convincing. Well, if the stamp is undamaged, and they have a good glue to put it one, you still have to check the card itself.

All in all, holo stamps are no more secure than the ones already in place. its just one more where they can do something wrong.
Then again, doing holo-sticker is no black magic either, so i don´t think this is really a long-term security-feature.

Also notice, that some fakes don´t have a holo stamp at all, but the emty place were it belongs. After so many real cards had the same issue, i thing they just gave it a try (as some people don´t believe they would print a fake and then don´t get a holostamp, so it must be genuine with the sticker missing...)

I think you just explained why people should go for holostamped versions. They are safer since it is easier to spot the fakes.
