    It should've read:
Draw two cards, then discard a card.
Raid - draw two cards instead.

    The artist put up the full art of all six arts together;

It is indeed Bolas carving his victory over the gatewatch.

I like how it shows everyone's defeat, shame you can't actually see any of that in the card art.
regardless, another $200+ down the drain for me.

Well, the first one i encounted were actually no holo stamps at all, but the image of the holostamps was printed onto the card. You spot it as soon as you have the cards in hand, but a friend bought them over ebay, and due to the light on the photos you couldn´t tell. Easy to spot.

The Second one are real Holo-Images, but not from wizards. They just tagged some random holosticker on it, either with an emty holo-backround with no image in front, or with some random image, not a magic symbol. but again, too many people just look if its there, and don´t check itself.
Also easy to spot, if you spent more than a passing glace on them.

Last the ones you mentioned, getting of a holostamp and tagging it to another card. But it the card themself is clearly fake, that isn´t that convincing. Well, if the stamp is undamaged, and they have a good glue to put it one, you still have to check the card itself.

All in all, holo stamps are no more secure than the ones already in place. its just one more where they can do something wrong.
Then again, doing holo-sticker is no black magic either, so i don´t think this is really a long-term security-feature.

Also notice, that some fakes don´t have a holo stamp at all, but the emty place were it belongs. After so many real cards had the same issue, i thing they just gave it a try (as some people don´t believe they would print a fake and then don´t get a holostamp, so it must be genuine with the sticker missing...)

I think you just explained why people should go for holostamped versions. They are safer since it is easier to spot the fakes.

TBH, this card makes wanna go with the UB control variation. Ditch cards like Visions of Beyond and all white cards for more reactive cards.
I'm leaning towards something like this:

Obviously, it's not tested and I can't say it will perform better than other variants but Fraying Sanity feels like it would be better suited for late mill strategies.

We just got a new toy to test out.

    Fraying Sanity 2U
    Enchantment Aura curse
    Enchant player
At the beginning of each end step, enchanted player puts the top X cards of his or her library into his or her graveyard, where X is the total number of cards put into his or her graveyard this turn.

Anyone think this could make the cut. 3 mana passive enchantment, kinda similar to Sphinx's Tutelage but synergizes with milling effects more.
turn 3 this into turn 4 glimpse gives us 20 cards.

    5. More specifically, Jace is going to end up on Ixalan as a "castaway." I suspect Bolas will "mindsculpt" him, and he might forget who he is.

Or maybe, he ends up remembering who he really is.

If done correctly, a MtG based MMORPG could be one of the best games to be released in a long time.

Sadly, the MMORPG market is no longer very large that it would be justified investing a large amount of resources into an MMORPG game. So, it will probably end up like many so-called "WoW-killers" of the last decade. Fun to play for a short while, but the flaws quickly come to light, so the game is forgotten very quickly.

Agreed. Since card based combat is out of the question, I see one other possibility. Remember how Witcher 3 had Gwent in it? Why now make something similar where people can play WoW type MMO and enjoy a TCG aspect within the game.

IMO, the only realistic "WoW-killer" MMO can be no other than Pokemon MMORPG.

does anyone have any colors they would like? the core theme wont be able to change drastically, but we could possibly pick a different color for the post bits, if there is something people like, instead of the off white we have now.

Just by using the existing color scheme, I managed something in between. It's not perfect but I like it better than blinding white Smile

Appreciate the effort put into the new design but allow me to suggest a few things:
    • Please bring back dark skin. One of the reasons I still frequent MTGS is the dark skin. I get to read/post a bit before sleeping without hurting my eyes. Same reason I didn't like the past few MTG market articles, too bright.
    • There is no point in putting the top 3 articles at the top of the main page when they are already below the spoilers bar. They take too much space, display half the article title, and the art is of lower quality (enlarged)
    • Instead of the "Featured New Article", which is promoted in 3 different places, you could show "Recent Forum Topics" with more than just 4 topics. After all, MTGS is a forum before everything else.
