i'm for abortion............ most of my thoughts can be summarized in the song "Laid to Rest," by Lamb of god.........

I think abortion should be legal and illegal in some instances........... So i'll sit on the fence until i make up my mind......... Can i have it both ways?

Abortion: if the mother was raped, their is a serious illness with the baby, or conceeding the baby jeopardizes the mothers' health.

ANti-abortion: Their needs to be some kind of responsibility when a man and a women have sex! I don't think a baby should be aborted if you aren't ready, or it was an accident! There are a plethora of options other than ending the life! I don't think a persons' personal shortcoming in life dictate the life of the next generation!

as far as i'm concern the vestigial organs which are the useless organs such as the appendix, the spleen, and the xiphoid process may have been a primitive organ in our early development for breaking down raw foods and ****

wait....... how can their be no spark to cause the fire? I know that when you get to the big bang and quantum mechanics all logic becomes illogical and what is illogical becomes logic like things can be in two places at the same time........ principle of uncertainty....... maybe i need a new thread on this

I said that their is a difference between a paradox and a contradiciton. His side: contradiction is the same as paradox because dictionary.com says so.... he is thick headed.....

    My side:

contradiction is two problems that oppose each other, a paradox is a predicament that is posed with a problem.

    Exemple: contradiction: a square circle

    paradox: nice jerk

paradox can have some truth to it too, and thus not contradict each other, your thoughts?

  • posted a message on What is the difference between humans and other animals?
easy answer: the cerebral cortex! We have a complex system in our brain. Through our weinekes area we can understand and develop language, threw our mirror neurins we are able to show empathy, with our hippocampus we are able to retain better memories than any other animals, Our frontal lobes is responsible for judgment and speech..... We can reason and develop are own set of morals. Our brains are incredibly elastic and we can adapt better than any other organism!. I can write a paper on this issue of what separates us from humans....... these are just some prime examples

  • posted a message on Creationism in schools
on the other hand though, i do believe in a supernatural force: If matter cannot be created or destroyed how the **** did anything come into existence???????/ THere had to be a spark to light the fire metaphorically speaking. WE have the big bang theory, but we still are clueless as to what caused the bigbang......... essentially though, if the universe is expanding we will be able to see the origins of the universe at the end (but how the **** do we do that?) We can take this issue down the rabbit hole all day long but the reality is we will never know for sure if evolution is true or not, or if their is a god who created us either on the spot or evolution through god

no, i don't believfe creationism should be taught in school (LEts keep religion out of school!)

Many of the people who posted believe that evolution is being taught in our schools..... No where does it say we evolved from apes people! THat is ignorant..... However, it does say that chimpanzees share about 99.8 percent of our dna and have what is it (48 chromosomes, or 44 chromosomes instead of humans?) ALl it says is that monkeys and humans share a common ancestry which doesn't necessarily mean we ****ing evolved from them!

i think i'm going by my biology teacher verbatem on the part that we share a common ancester with chimpanzees
