It has been said already multiple times, but this set was looking disappointing early on, but has been kicked into overdrive. Many testers and lots of cards i want to just get in my cube now :), including this one.
Really liking the deck concept. Looking to maybe build something similar. I was wondering if there was a reason for all the mana rocks that become creatures? If it is just for the colors, wouldn't Chronatog Totem and Foriysian Totem be better as Darksteel Ingot and Chromatic Lantern?
I would have to disagree wtwlf123. I find that Geists is also good in a control deck to lock down a creature, giving you time to interact in the later game. I don't push a specific tempo strategy in blue in my cube and i still find that Geists is a very fine creature. Granted my cube is unpowered, which might change the evaluation
FYI, noticed this cube from the Official This or That thread. A friend and I have drafted it a couple of times, looks really sweet. Wondering how in drafts it makes sense to prioritize fixing. Also when you pick a guild do you try to stick to just that guild or does a 3rd color always bleed in?
What about Renegade Krasis? A pretty ok Green 3 drop which is a slot that needed some help, his giving others counters is pretty irrelevant but the evolve is nice.
Wonder how good his +1 is in a cube like mine where the best untap artifact mana is a signet, still ramp but not a whole lot different than untapping a land.
