I would also argue that changing the deck size by cutting 15 cards would turn some people off of the format due to having to reconfigure all their decks.
It wouldn't run me off but I would be very annoyed redoing all my decks because they decided to change the format so that someone can shuffle easier. The format has been around for a long time and you're the first person I have ever heard make this suggestion.
I don't break my deck into two and shuffle like that and neither does anyone in my playgroup (we have between 4-8 of us that regularly play together).
And I'm not too sure you're right about the 100 pack sleeves back in the day. I know that all I could ever find was 60 or 80 sleeve packs because I always joked with the LGS owner about how he raked in money on the EDH players having to buy two packs. Ultra Pro didn't put their Eclipse sleeves in 100 packs until 2-3 years ago because the Command Zone made a huge deal about it.
Yea, there's times I draw it and I'm happy to see it but there's times I draw it and it sits in my hand. I already run the other slivers that give flying and I run several ways to bring my slivers back from the graveyard so the other ability is somewhat minimal in the deck. I just think the 5 CMC is too high for it.
How has playtesting gone? I'm curious because I'm not sure 32 lands is enough, even with the 10 or so pieces of ramp you have. I run 38 lands in my Sliver Overlord deck along with 8 pieces of ramp.
Sivartus' suggestion is a good one. I'd check that primer he linked to out. Really in-depth and well written.
One thing I noticed from a quick glance is you really don't have enough creatures. 23 just isn't near enough. You're going to want at least 1/3rd of your deck to be creatures so that you have a higher chance of hitting with Sidisi. I think most of the decks in the primer are around 38, and I run 41 in my Sidisi.
It's kind of hard to say exactly with seeing a mana distribution but I'd imagine in addition to the Vivid's you could cut one of each basic. I'm also not that big a fan of Ancient Ziggurat with your breakdown. If I counted right, you have 30 creatures and 29 non-creature spells, so it's a dead mana source to almost half your deck.
Sliver Legionis included!
Dual lands aren't an option, back in the days i had them aal but well... Shocks and Fetched are being considered. In my playgroup this manabase is somewhat the default setting.
My bad, I totally missed it at the bottom.
As for the Shocks, now would be a decent time to buy them.

So change the entire format as it's been since it's inception (100 card singleton) because you have a hard time shuffling?
Gee, that's not asking for much.
I keep going back and forth on it and have as long as I've had my Sliver deck (many years). Would love some others input.
