You literally just proved my point further.

"You can definitely always predict emotions and intent from text"

This is obviously sarcasm but you prove my point. You CANT interpret emotion or intent. So then why be sarcastic? Being sarcastic in text is so easily seen as condescending precisely because you CANT interpret emotion and intent.

And you even further prove my point by talking about ceaseless hunger. It doesnt matter what his insight is it matter how you react to his advice whether its bad or not. Sarcasm CAN and WILL be interpreted as condescending. You can agree as much as you want with him but youre wrong. Sarcasm has no place here where no one knows you, your intent or your emotion. It WILL be seen as condescending and rightfully so. Whwn someone asks for advice your useless sarcastic comments arent needed and dont advance the conversation.

You obviously havent seen his condescending attitude in previous posts with ceaselesshunger and other in this thread so i dont expect you to understand.

And lets be honest the way he says sarcasm is common and if im unfamiliar with it then...

Cmon bro him saying im unfamiliar with it IS exactly the condescending attitude. everyone knows what sarcasm is. That is the case and point.

Secondly, you dont use sarcasm on a thread where people dont know you nor know when or how youre being sarcastic ( though at times its obvious) that is exactly why its percieved as condescending. If you donf understaand that than idk what else to say.

But thats enough of that im dont talking to and about this dude.

Interesting. I can see the power or tracker but i was thinking of a more mid game tutoring effect. Yisan is a bit slow ill have to agree just wanted to hear if anyones tried the card at all. Thank you for the input.

What do you guys think of yisan, the wanderer bard ?

Hmm i dont think we should only look at creatures if they evolve E1

Tbh i hardly win because of E1

Most of my wins are off of geist, baloth, and avatar

But i do see E1 as pretty valuable. I just dont like basing all creature pics solely off of E1.

Secondly as for the removal. To judge a card based on oh it can be removed or it can countered i see the merit but i mean all these cards die to counters, and many of our combos are wrecked by removal. Such as rancor..

Should we stop playing rancor bc we can be two for oned?

I think its good that we have certain cards that NEED to be answered as that should be one of our goals bc that means wer dangerous.

If reverent hunter HAS to be answered and usually is. Shouldnt it be more heavily considered?
Im just wondering i am still kind of a noob but still. I think that is a logical conclusion.

    Finally

I really believe we need some kind of card draw or filtering or something. I find by obersving gameplay and playing the deck that it simply runs or of gas quickly pretty often.

So i think we need a little but of card draw/filtering/tutoring.. something

What do you guys think about running just a two of of cards like

    grapple with the past
    gather the pack

These cards could also help fuel a scavenging ooze and our life total for just a few points.

But maybe having creatures in those spots is just better, i dont know. Though I still believe we need some fuel. And having a 1 of collected company is optimal for this deck.

Havent posted in a while but this is the decklist ive been playing

    http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/18-05-17-NZA-eldrazi-tron/

I think it is perfectly balanced and answers many threats pre sideboard

The 2/2 split with walking ballista and hangarback i think is very very effective and i suggest others at least try it.

I dont run4 chalice simply bc i dont like drawing more than i need. It is literally a dead draw and not to mention tends to shut off my own spells like map and mind stone.

I like mind stone bc of the mid-late game draw which i think the deck really really needs at least 50% of the time.

2 wurmcoil bc he is simply a monster in my opinion and he should be played more.

2 basilisk collar bc I really despise having my only collar destroyed and i love gaining life with this deck. It makes it just seem unfair to play.

    interesting list for sure.

However the allure of stompy IMO is the mono color (as well as the budget) however I do see your list as being pretty good and looks fun to play.

No i wouldnt splash any color. Part of the appeal is the mono color.

Ive been testing Renegade Krasis and i do have to say its pretty good. It is a tad slow but it gets out of control if you had the correct start.

I do recomend it to you guys to at least test it out.

I dont see how saying something can be countered as a reason not to play a it.

Rancor for example is a perfect card that can cost you 2 for 1 if they remove the creature you attempt to attach it to. There are always responses to things we do and at some point will cost us more.

That isnt reason in my opinion to not play a card.

Many people have said the same about ensoul artifact in affinity though that card has seen many top 8's in that deck and I have had tremendous success with the card myself. But i digress.

Your other reasons however, are valid points and things to think about. I still have to say that just bc you cant "rationalize it" doesnt mean it wont work and in fact has worked and i still think you should try the card at least. Many times that ive played the card it has worked in my favor though it is impossible to say would it have been better as a creature in those instances.

Perhaps ill play a renegade krasis or another pair of baloths.
Though I will continue testing and playing with the numbers to see how the card will do.

I am also considering playing two collected companies instead and just not have evolutions at all. I think that may be optimal.

    Hmmm i see

Well hammers are good tools. Been used for centuries have they not?

    Grin

Well i may cut EE or not im not sure yet bc I have had success with it though i see the point in going one route of attack with just creatures.

So then what do you think of instead 2 EE and 1 CoCo i go 2 coco and 1 extra creature?

And id like to hear your case for or against CoCo in terms of the arguments i presented

Also have you tried EE in this deck? If so what were your results?

You still arent grasping the toolbox use you get from EE. Not to mention allowing for a 4 or 5 cmc creature on turn 3. Sometimes baloth is needed sometimes thrun sometimes a dungrove would be best. It allows tutoring and even can set up a potent combo and has the ability to get a 4/4 E1 by turn three.

I see you point of why not a creature
Instead however EE has a tool box effect that the deck could use to great effect.

A turn 3+ experiment 1 draw is not that great tbh so theres that.

Secondly, sure you can put in extra creatures in its place however EE is not in a taking any creature slots but the slots used for the removal spells.

I see your points but I dont really like drawing E1 and dryads after turn 3 and EE gives me a way to turn those draws into something better. I also like the option to fetch out a thrun or dungrove elder. The point is that it allows you to find a suitable piece for the match up and what you have in hand not just "removable beef".

But thats why I said I know some people dont like EE and thats fine. I dont really like paying 4 life for dismember and prefer this route.
