Hi guys, I have designed a couple deck displays that I cut with my laser. I was hoping to get some feedback as to whether this would be something people might have interest in. I created duel deck design and a 5 deck design. I know I cannot sell these with any kind of copyright images on them, even though my own personal ones have them. But I can do artwork as long as it is not copyrighted. Hopefully it is OK to link my Craigslist page here, if not please let me know. I mostly just want to gauge interest at this point. Thanks!
Hi guys. I just built this storage box for my 360 card cube. I used my laser to cut out the pieces and glued them together. I was thinking I might try to sell some version of this box, and I was hoping to get some feedback. Obviously the design on the lid could be anything, and it wouldn't have to be just on the lid either. This material is Poplar, but I think Oak would be nice too! I also built a small deck box based on the same design. Let me know what you think. Would you change the design in any way? Maybe a different way to open the lid instead of the tab?
OK, I finally narrowed my large pool of "interesting" cards down to 360. That was a lot harder than I thought it would be, there was a bunch of neat cards that I had to cut! I wanted to try to represent all of the normal win conditions including mill and even poison. Not sure that I have enough poison to even allow it though. Anyway, I would imagine that this is not the best cube ever, but let me know what you think.
Thanks for the ideas! I will make sure to add some of those in. I have some mechanics/abilities that I think I would like to make sure I represent. I just don't know if they will actually work or not. And some are probably tough at common. Here of a few that I can think of that sound fun to me.
counters, graveyard play, mill, discard, scry, creature stealing, vigilance, exalted, and a bunch that I cannot think of right now I'll just link to my cubetutor to show maybe what I am finding interesting so far.
I also like the idea of having creature types matter, (humans, goblins, ect), but I think that may be too difficult with all the other things I am trying to do.
Hi guys. I am currently planning to build a small pauper cube. I would like to build it with the cards I currently own. I think my collection is large enough to make something cool. So here is what I am thinking....
This cube would be designed as a two player cube(my wife and I). I really like the idea of the "grid draft" format, So I would like to keep that in mind when building. For instance, morph cards would be less interesting since we can see each others picks and I would have the advantage having built the cube. We are not the greatest players, so I will be trying to keep out any extremely complicated cards, or mechanics that are very difficult to keep track of. I would like make sure I include ways to make interesting combos, but nothing that would be too powerful to make it not fun.
I currently have my collection on DeckBox. I started the long process of going through my collection and adding any cards that I thought looked interesting to CubeTutor, then I was planning to thin that list to about 360 cards... Maybe there is a better way. Anyway, just wanted to see if anyone has any advice for me. Or maybe someone would like to help me with synergy ideas. I will be happy to provide more info if anyone is interested. Thanks!
