Official language in the new player thread and elsewhere will probably be replaced with "voted out" when I get around to doing council stuff I've been putting off for too long because my computer isn't set up at the moment

Ampharos (actual vote), she exemplifies great town play: she puts in a lot of effort, is extremely easy to town read and she's a joy to play with as well. 

Best Mafia Player

Best Overall Player — Rhand, he's great in any role and has no major flaw.

Best Newcomer

Most Entertaining Player — Lastwhisper, zoomiest zoomer that ever zoomed.

Most Improved Player

Mod Awards:
Best Design — Prison Block II, simple yet elegant and fun.

Best Flavor — Snow White, I prefer short and sweet flavour over walls of text I don't read, and I loved the macabre humour of the death scenes.

I wish we still did "funniest false claim", so I could nominate Rhand's gambler claim in Prison Block II. :-p

Also, who is actually new among the newcomers? (As in, didn't play forum Mafia at all until this year?)

I'll note this and see if we can get it into the podcast; we mainly did away with those so we could just talk about more funny/great plays there instead of just shouting out one of them

Newcomer list should be free of returning players and gimmicks now (as well as actually accurate, I missed a couple names first time through)

We are planning on doing another podcast this year with help from Osieorb18, but we're still ironing out the details.

Here are your directions!
