Did they reveal if there was 1 DFC in every pack or have them appear as regular rares, since there's only 10 of them and all rares. The later seems much more likely but one can hope...
Sadly it was confirmed that they are shuffled in the indicated rarity slot.
Old Growth Dryads, Goblin Guide like card in green is a rare I hadn't noticed.
Lol at the photobombing frog in River Heralds’ Boon
And loving the basic land art in this set.
Seems bad, because it's so long before you are paid back. Maybe if it said "at the beginning of EACH end step" it'd be playable.
The card does have significant downside in casual multiplayer because often players will want to attack for some trigger or just to do something, but not really have a target in mind. This card makes you the schelling point for player to attack in those situations.
But maybe in a Kazuul, Tyrant of the Cliffs deck.
Whose hand is she grabbing?
I mean, I can kind of make out another person on the kite, but at first glance it looks like the focal point character is the one attached to the kite but she isn't. So which one of them is the title referencing? It's a fine drawing, but a bit confusing because of the cropping of it.
18. Land deck. Many games have done this, and MTG is still superior to all of them. But ignoring that, you have undone the work of rule 12, current decks are 24-36 split, these two changes combined would make it look more like 6-44.
This reminds me of the FF Game of Thrones Plot deck, which is a set of 7 cards from which you select 1 at a time to give you your resources for the turn, card draw, hand size, and damage potential. Basically, if you are going to go to a system where you only need a handful of lands, it does open it up to do more interesting things with them--like, maybe they give you lots of mana, but go back to the lands deck after use.
I don't think such a system is superior for MtG, but something to think about.
If something else has happened, including another player revealing a spell they intend to cast based on information like what mana is untapped, it's too late to take back a sub-optimal lesson, like in the case of the opponent countering the spell. Just inform them that if it causes them to lose, that will help them remember all the better in the future.
What would settle the wreckage even mean? Wreckage will settle by itself to the bottom. wreckage is also no longer threatening; it's like saying Crush the Rubble. You can settle a score, or a wager, meaning to make things even, but I don't see how that applies. Perhaps trying to sink a ship already wrecked upon rocks, to get it out of the way; I'm not sure how that relates to exiling attacking creatures.
The other thing to watch out for is the commander pre-cons oversized commander cards will sometimes be listed along with the regular version at online vendors, so you might think that a particular card is much cheaper than the regular sized one will cost you.

Art Direction: Zombie Homunculus surrounded by zombies ignoring him.
Flavor text: Fblthp still hated crowds.
He's paying you to let him kill others? What about Ogre Mugger or something? Still creature type Ogre Assassin, of course.
