The 'Se7en' Wraths are AMAZING. That's probably my favorite playset of alters I have ever seen. theooze, you are pretty amazing at this. Minor nitpick, on some of the STE's, you can see through the art and somewhat read the original text. Just sayin'. Those Wraths though... I want me some o' dem there Wraths
Runed Halo is such a beating I can't even begin to tell you how all of the people in this thread with their pet decks need to just stop for a second and remember what a beating Runed Halo is.
Seconded. Listen to Kijin on this one. Runed Halo is miles better in Extended than you could ever really dream of in Standard. It isn't the end-all-be-all, but it's pretty darn good. Martyr might actually be viable. Definitely not all season long, but the first week or two of PTQs where there's a large majority of certain popular decks, it could be very good (especially when your metagame is easily predictable).
It does not take a degree in medicine to have a basic understanding of the human body. I am merely a 15 year old kid. It is important to know anatomy if one wishes to persue an art career, and I am simply pointing out some errors which were visible to me. I can guarantee that almost all (if not all) MTG artists have studied anatomy and been to life-drawing classes. This is because in order to achieve a higher level of realism and improve the overall art quality anatomy is vital. A beautifully rendered painting can be completely ruined if the foundations of it are off, things like proportions, anatomy, perspective etc. It is not "artistic interpretation", it is a lack of the understanding of the muscles.
It's a ZOMBIE, yo!
Anyways.
Anybody know where I can get Acetate paper or whatever it is called? I need some more because I've used it all and I don't know where to get more. Once I get some, I should have a playmat or two done by Friday to post on here
I personally use erasers. I just tape off the parts I don't want erased. Be careful how hard you erase though, especially near the edge of the tape. I've ruined a couple of cards like this.
What's the best way to 'white out' part of a card? As in, erasing or blanking part of a card. You see, I'm making some home-made proxies to round out my new Cube and I'd like to know the easiest way. I tried a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser, and it works well, but it is a little sloppy and got my card a little bit wrinkly where it wasn't whited out, but maybe I just had the eraser too wet. I don't know.
Hey guys! As far as the War goes, I've only got a 360 at the moment (recently recovered from red lights of death) but am going to get a Playstation 3 for Metal Gear Solid 4. Little Big Planet, inFamous, and the new God of War are also points of interest, but mostly MGS and Little Big Planet.
Anyways, I want to know what the best version of the PS3 to get is if I'm looking for Backwards Compatability. I still have a couple very cool games I have yet to finish, and I want to be able to replay some of them as well.
I play this deck pretty seriously, but the other day I was goofing around with it, just using whacky cards. I threw in Lightning Angel because it's my favorite creature ever printed and rotating out of Standard soon. When we played LA actually performed pretty well. I was actualy pretty surprised by how good it was. I doubt it's good enough for mainstream conclusion, but I'll actually test it seriously a bit. Even if it isn't as good as I think, I'm going to run it in FNM because mise, I guess.
The type of mat that you drew on....is that the all white mat? where did you find that mat? i cant seem to find it anywhere.
Ditto. I can't find blank playmats anywhere. Some kid from Jersey came up to the shop today and had a blank playmat. I offered him like 20$ for it and he wouldn't give it up for some reason. Oh well.

Excellent, Yawg!
Bristol, not a huge fan of the reference, but great work. I still dig your style. It's very cool.

Please don't image leech, especially on something as silly as a picture of Acetone.

Won't happen again.
HOT! That's awesome.
Thanks, man.
You're welcome.
I've got a question for my fellow artists.

Thanks, guys. Keep up the good work, too.
You put 3 Mind's Desire in your Cube? Cube is a Singleton format.
