According to Chapin's latest article some of the footage is being used for a Magic tournament documentary while most of it is being used for his upcoming show House of Cards. He goes on to mention it won't be on TV for months and plans on getting much more footage for Season 1 at upcoming tournaments. Also, he says that it's not so much like the Real World but more like Entourage meets Viva La Bam.
...There's an article about my wife and I called "Magic's Newest Power Couple" under the Weekend Blogs in the Event Coverage. That's pretty cool. Plus a documentary is being made by Pat Chapin, Lan D. Ho and others that I was interviewed pretty extensively for. Supposedly there is going to be info about it on Starcitygames and Lan is starting a site called ICAMETOGAME.COM which will market the item...
C'mon guys, I already said that there was a documentary being made that isn't House of Cards... Notice how in that post I even said it was *saucy* new info. haha
Rather uninteresting, no offense to anybody. I love Spring Jack Pasture for some crazy extended and legacy casual decks, but this deck is just unnecessarily overcomplicated.
I know he was being sarcastic...and I know you all laughed...but that's a seriously solid idea.
Folks, we're talking about a deck that MDs four Kitchen Finks and as many as three Primal Commands. The only threat that RDW can throw at us that causes any problems is Demigod of Revenge, and Raking Canopy is an unstoppable way for us to effectively neutralize every copy of Demigod in their deck.
I don't know about you, but I'll be tying it out.
I definitely thought that was a joke until I thought about it.
As bad as demigod might end up being it's 4 cards in their deck for them to draw, there's probably 4 skreds in your build
Correction: There are 'effectively' 10 Demigods in their deck. Assuming you draw all four Skreds and they draw all four Demigods, they'll have 10 Creatures you have to kill.
Aside from that, I agree that keeping in Threshers is the way to go, as the better players side out little guys that die to Firespout, or at least bring in stuff like Thick-Skinned Goblin and Manabarbs for cards that are useless (Fanatic, both Magus'). Blood Knight, however, is still often-times relevant because it kills Finks without dying.
I need to test this matchup a bit more before I could feel justified in giving any actual advice, but damn, do I wish Savage Twister was still around...
Okay guys, I've got some (saucy) new info. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to tell you or not, but I'll assume it's okay
I talked to Donald Morway, who just got back from Nationals (13th place), and he was giving me a little tourney report. Anyways, here's an excerpt I thought would interest you. (It interested me.)

This should hold us over for a little while... Maybe.
Sealed is largerly luck based however. you hear high level players talk about it all the time... bad sealed pools and you might as well have not shown up.
True, true. I don't play sealed unless it's a Prerelease where I just outplay everyone there anyways, unless I'm judging.
Anyhow, I do believe this is supposed to be about House of Cards, not Limited v. Constructed. Sorry for derailing everyone
I'm pretty sure that jab wasn't really necessary at all. What did I even do to deserve that?

I looked for it, and it's on DFC.

My bad.
I'd assume it's a gift, but, apparently they say something about assumptions...
We do have Mouth of Ronom. It's pretty good.
I definitely thought that was a joke until I thought about it.
...Demigod is a 5/4, not a 5/5. Awesome!
Those are amazing, man. That's definitely the best Black Lotus proxy I've ever seen.
HAH. I should think these things through more carefully.
