This mostly seems to match the leaked spoilers that got deleted, with a few key differences. There's also a very detailed plot summary up on 4chan that follows a very similar outline, but again, some of the details don't quite line up. So that's three different versions of the story that mostly align, but diverge in some interesting ways.
Also, while I was originally skeptical, someone on Reddit posted actual pictures of the book that seem to confirm the original leak, or at least some key details about the ending. The discrepancies might just be a result of the original poster skimming through the book and missing some details, or maybe just misremembering things.
I have to disagree with your explanations for Alara and Tarkir. Yes they are multicolored focus, but there's a difference between two colored and tri colored. Tarkir doesn't have to be about dragons, they could easily make it themed around the khans timeline.
Rabiah is a no go as they don't have the rights for it.
Also, there's all the planes named on the planechase cards that won't be used on a normal set that can be used here. Although it's more of a wish than anything else.
I remember „The Wanderer“ as a character back in the days when Diablo & Diablo II were hot…
Definitely a good Name for something unknown. Would love it being a flip Planeswalker human and demon!
Funny story about that. I was brewing around an idea for a story set on a plane inspired by norse and celtic mythology and one of the visitor planeswalkers was originally from theros. The character is a champion of Phenax and had a unique weapon that could transform into a demon that inhabited said weapon, which this character is mostly inspired from the Sorceress class in Black Desert Online. I'm still fleshing it out, but I'm hoping to introduce it sometime later. This all takes place way before the mending.
Back on topic though. I'm still think the staff lady is the one who ascends at the end of Children of the Nameless. Others were saying the "wanderer" might be Elspeth based on the boots being similar, but I'm hoping it isn't.
Mu Yanling and the mysterious walker in the hat look almost nothing alike. She and Jiangg don’t even have any story do they?
Also who the hell is Li Shan?
They have a paragraph each. Li-shan is Mu Yanling's mentor who disappeared one morning and she's been looking for him/her with the help of Jiangg whom she befriended after they fought each other.
One: they might be wrong but the "entire" world, including some pretty enfranchised entities, are sure that the hatted one is Mu Yanling (it would be strange if she didn't follow Yanggu afterall)
Two: Li Shan is named MANY times "wanderer" and he disappeared...
One thing really upsets me... Dack Fayden and NO cards? Is this OCD Hell?
Yes but if the hat lady is Mu Yanling and her mentor Li-shan is in fact the wanderer then he won't get a card like Dack or the hat walker is Li-shan
I mean we got time travel in this story and resurrection magic. So if they want him back it doesn't matter how dead he is they can always bring him back.
Plot twist, Bolas dies, Liliana brings him back as her zombie slave
I can't find it anywhere
I can't stand her art though. It looks like she gained 50lbs

Could be revived like the others
Wasn't Tacenda a kid or a teen at the most?

You know what, I kind of like this partnership. Its interesting
