the 4 toughness up front in comparison to tracker is massive. so much more resilient in combat and to damage based removal including things like cut down

I dont think you should replace tireless tracker with the card but this card is absolutely cubeable and will hold it's own.

being able to get rid of the only day bound card in my list while removing a DFC is win win.

Don't like that it is called malcolm but everything else is good.

the body itself if way too anemic.

If it was a 3/3 or 4/4 that entered with the three counters then maybe we'd be talking.

Im testing this for sure. Not going to get a better rate or flexibility in a spell like this. Split second is exactly what these kinds of spells need.

Playing against this at prerelease was a bit scary. Even coming down early it grows quickly with all token generators.

It is a boring card but it will be a decent sized body quite reliably.

got to test this a bit at prerelease and it was ok. making a treasure was the go to choice, with a wicked role going onto another creature the times I wasn't making treasure.

Haste was almost completely irrelevant as this just became a 1/1 chump blocker 90% of the time.

I was pretty low on this card during spoilers but it exceeded my expectations in prerelease. Will give it a test in a cube environment to see how it does.

Opened two of these in my prerelease so got some testing in a limited environment and it was pretty underwhelming. The drawing side is fine but the creature half is just so anemic it felt horrible to cast if you were ever in a position you needed to.

If this had flying I'd be testing. As is it's a pass for me.

collectors vault interesting. a lot of us did miss that for consideration. Will have to see if I can find a slot for a potential test.

    good stuff as always.

Card is awesome. Its the one I'm most excited for in the set.

Side note: this art will forever bug me because the spiral pattern they are making is not possible based on the contrails of the glow coming off their hands going in opposite directions.

Got to see this Bad Mutha in action tonight and it was great.

Not only was it played in more early game scenarios it also was great against an opposing hostage taker being able to come back as a 2/2 flyer with food left over to draw cards off of. krasis would have been doodoo.

Very happy with this over krasis!

First off, cute AF. That beady little eye just adorable and should warrant inclusion for that alone.

I don't think I have room for this unfortunately but I like it more than dauntless bodyguard and mardu woe reaper personally. behind usher of the fallen, thraben inspector, kytheon, isamaru, giver of runes, and esper sentinel for me.

Cool card with some good flexibility but it gets caught in the middle a bit of being removal or a savior not doing either that well compared to the competition.

It's primary role is going to be removal and skyclave apparition just has so many more targets as well as removing the threat permanently in exchange for the cmc token. Doesn't have flash but I think it has more opportunities to be cast as good removal than werefox.

Another comparable card is touch the spirit realm which doesn't provide a body but is much harder to remove as an enchantment limiting blowouts in combat or allowing your opponent extra ETB triggers. Also hits more targets taking out artifacts as well. Then it is also better as a blink card as it is uncounterable and costs less mana to blink.

I'm very hesitant about Touch of the Spirit Realm after how much poorly the 3 mana pacifism performed in Lotr set.

Its been good for me so far. Uncounterable blink plus being an easier to cast "oblivion ring" has been great even if it misses Planeswalkers and a few other targets.
