hmmmm. By turn 4 when you can attack they probably have 2 blockers that will just eat it... and by the time you cast it for eternalize they arent going to have many cards to discard. so its basically a 4/4 menace for 6.
haha I lol'd at wtwlf's comment. name doesn't bother me but i dont think i will be running this. interesting to see no attack/block condition as well as no indestructible. excited about that as my cube has a no indestructibility clause.
interesting card for sure. wish eternalize was a bit more straight forward so i felt more comfortable running the game day promo without reminder text! will give this a test but i guess i will have to use the pack foil! haha
is there anyway that this could still be a test sheet to check foiling or something? Ironically, maybe the leak will let them catch the mistake and fix it before official print happens.
A test sheet that they make up new cards for but also include reprints on, that has general themes and overlaps of the mechanics of said cards?
I believe you are trying to tell me that with those factors it isn't likely to be a test sheet, but i am a bit confused by your comment. WOTC is always changing foiling processes doesn't matter if the cards are new or reprints. The reprints also have new art so they could also just be testing to make sure they have the print layers right. (don't want another captains claws with goldnight castigator foil situation). I feel like its pretty safe to assume that before they package a set they print a few test sheets of it to inspect it?

tough casting cost. wont make it for me. 6 cmc red would have to be pretty insane to make most peoples cuts i think. most the red 5cmc cards are better than this.
I like this card. I've cut pithing needle because of it just sitting in sideboards. I think sorcerous spyglass is to pithing needle, what forsake the worldly is to disenchant. 1 additional mana for a more mainboardable effect. I've been happy with the swap to forsake so I will give this a try as well and if it leads to more mainboarding then happy days.
I think i will pass on this.
