I believe this list is 100% real. 145 legitimate-sounding names? Most people can't even make up one.
This is the first time we've ever had this much information this soon. Shards isn't even out yet. And although I'd ordinarily think this was an authorized leak to drum up excitement, the fact that Nicol Bolas is spoiled makes me think otherwise. If planeswalkers are WOTC's ace in the hole, then their hand just got tipped.
Brandon is engaging, energetic, and is a natural-born teacher. He also likes green shirts, Shadowmoor block, and happens to be ADORABLE. :3
Ken, however, looks like he would rather be somewhere else. He also has terrible posture. One half of me feels bad for him (maybe he was having a bad day?), and the other half is going "WTF? Are you KIDDING me?"
Come on, WOTC. In this economy, it's all about image. Ken is not the image you want. (And I'm not trying to pick on Ken. Whenever I see Rosewater in a video, I cringe and close the browser. D:)
Did I mention how cute Brandon Bozzi is? I just wanna hug him.
Although I don't speak anything but English, I am excellent at identifying languages and that is definitely not a language I am familiar with. My first instinct was Indo-Slavic but that's nothing I've ever seen before.
What was the context? Maybe that could be a clue to it being a cipher or a conlang.

Four Minutes
Sorcery R
Four Minutes is blue.
Suspend 4 - Pay half your life, rounded up. (Rather than play this card from your hand, pay half your life, rounded up and remove it from the game with four time counters on it. At the beginning of your upkeep, remove a time counter. When the last is removed, play it without paying its mana cost.)
Split second (As long as this spell is on the stack, players can't play spells or activated abilities that aren't mana abilities.)
End the game. (The player or team with the highest life total wins the game. If all players or teams are tied for highest life total, the game is a draw.)
We've only got four minutes, ha, four minutes...
Cool? Bogus? Broken? Too much apocalyptic eschatology mixed with Madonna?
I dunno if you were going for a Hellboy reference for the first one, because I was thinking how cool it would be for it to be an artifact creature and for it to trigger on 5 artifact creatures. >_>
Is Brandon Bozzi too trite? I'm not gay, and I'm not even a gamer (not even bisexual, I'm just an open-minded straight guy who sees beauty in almost everything and is not ashamed of telling which men are attractive, kinda like women do with their own gender, and I'm a bit androgynous), but I think he's the cutest guy around R&D. I also think Randy Gallegos is a cutie (well-groomed), and he seems to be a sweetie ("good people"), I like him and his art. Jeremy Jarvis scares me, though; I somehow imagine him being an aggressive, overtly-assertive person. Yeah, Scott Altmann is attractive (although I don't like his art), and Doug Beyer too.
Now moving to the heterosexual part... I think Jen Page is hot! She might as well be my favorite WotC member, and she did participate in the art department, with Crown of Convergence, and her web-editing is awesome, no matter what http://www.ugmadness.net/index.php?date=2008-08-08 says. (BTW Liliana Vess is pretty hot, too, obviously)
And if you want an opinion from a straight guy posting in this thread: it does seem like a joke, but hey, at least I have the balls to post here!
Damn, I forgot all about Brandon! I LOVE his YouTube videos. He's sooooo cute. I didn't even know he was part of R&D, I figured they just outsourced the videos to some dude. Man, he should be like half the charity calendar.
Randy Gallegos is also very cute. He used to have really weird hair, though. Good thing he changed that. He looks like a 16 year old. That's simultaneously adorable and really creepy!
And everyone loves Jen Page. She's awesome. Her hair is so freaking cool, too. Maybe that's her natural hair color... O_O
They should create a Magic staff member charity pin-up calendar!
That's a strangely awesome idea, since the economy's so bad right now, they could probably make quite a bit of money off the sheer novelty factor. Then again, if they have shirtless Jarvis in those awesome Diesel jeans, I'd probably buy like twenty of them. :3
Just wanted to chime in and say I didn't know Alexis Jansen was transgendered. But now that you mention it, that explains her deep voice and adam's apple. Anywhoosel, I'm not gay nor am I a woman nor am I gay woman (or am i?) but from a hetero point of view, Jarvis looks like Smigel from LOTR. Cavotta does look like Phelps...but Cavotta is such a funny dude. I had the pleasure of exchanging some emails with him and he had one-liner after one-liner that nearly made me **** my underoos. Cavotta wins for having the hilarity factor.
Yeah, there was a little bit of a controversy when she won, actually. But she's good people. I like her. And I always really liked Cavotta's articles. They were so much fun to read. Shame he's moved on to greener pastures.
As far as attractive females that work at Wizards, I'm not sure if this counts since it's an artist and not an actual employee, but Google Terese Nielsen, and Rebecca Guay is all right too, but a bit old for me I think.
I really like Terese Nielsen. I love her artwork and she's also really pretty. Sorta looks a little like Sheryl Crow. She's also good people. Except for when she teams up with her brother, Ron Spencer, who I think is one of the worst artists I have ever seen. NOT EVERYTHING IS SHINY, RON. YOU ARE NOT GOOD PEOPLE.
I am probably alone in saying that I think Rebecca Guay is an AMAZING artist. I really like her MTG illustrations and I think she adds a very strong flavor to the game. She also has a very strong cougar vibe. RAWR. :3 She seems like a really intelligent person, too, which just adds to the cougarness.
And EnemyWithin, I'm pretty sure my friend Bibi is reading that right now, actually.
That's not counting all the cute people that play MTG either. Woapalanne. MikeyG. FTMB. Rancored_Elf. (You know you like muscly psychiatric nurses that get sued by angry corporations.) Hydrokinesis. (Please don't kill me Mrs. Kinesis.) Avatar of Kokusho wait what?
This has turned out to be a very strange topic. I like it.
Forgive me for being a casual, out-of-touch player, but isn't something that makes all colors available good? Especially with the coming of the Shards, that require such large amounts of different kinds of mana? O_o
For the January FCC I made a card with an ability word called "harrow":
Dustborn Remnant
Creature - Remnant U Harrow - You may pay 1 life instead of paying Dustborn Remnant's mana cost.
1/1
Admittedly, it was mostly an excuse to use my hard-on for both Beksinski's work and the idea of a no-mana-cost card. Horribly unbalanced in retrospect, but I liked the idea of harrow, and I can easily see people referring to something's "harrow cost" as opposed to its "alternate non-mana casting cost."
Also, if you're using it for commons and uncommons, it'll have to have reminder text that would almost be as long as saying "You may _______ instead of paying ~'s mana cost." That's not to say it can't be keyworded (and in fact the quoted text I just wrote would be how you'd say it) but I wonder the utility of saying it.
I also like the word "sunder" for something land-based. Nice. :3

THE PLOT THICKENS.
Creepy. X_X

I'm sorry I couldn't help myself.

I suddenly thought of a lot of different paint-related things. Hot? I guess?
Jeremy Jarvis is not chubby. That's muscle. MUSCLE DAMMIT.
And I'm really glad Doug got rid of that hair he used to have. In fact, I think we're all glad he got rid of that hair.

You know, that's true, I wouldn't think U would be Jeremy's color. But maybe that's what he WANTS us to think. THOSE DEVIOUS BLUE MAGES.
Man I wish there were more pictures of Jeremy and Doug. Maybe they just don't ever come out of their caves. :<
