I am just repeating what was said in a rukebooks I own. It is one of the rulebooks that came with the starter pack or whatever it is called. The 8th product that included the MTGO disc. It says that you can't play spells or abilities unless an ability triggers, like Megrim.
It can't be targeted by spells. You choose the target when you play the spell. If there is none it would resolve. That would therefore kill the untargetable creature.
That is what I have heard, but what if the uncontrolled combo mills a player's deck (mine or my oponents) or causes one or both of use to drop to zero life?
This would suck if I were you. Going on to prove someone else wrong, and having yourself proven wrong instead. Your obviously mixing it up with the Pickles combo. The Brine says when it is flipped up. Vesuvan flips, becoming a copy which is flipping. Not coming into play, but flipping.
