More likely:
You may play this card for its spectate cost if you played a creature this turn.
I would not be surprised with that as a Gruul mechanic... but it doesn't seem Rakdos-y (nor much of a Spectacle).
Creatures in card image make a spectacle, ergo it could be creature and/or planeswalker oriented mechanic.
Maybe something more oriented with casting spells. More spells=lesser cost. rakdos is all about "Let's make a big spectacle, fire and blood everywhere!"
It could be a "If you cast it for it's Spectacle cost, you cannot cast any other spells this turn."
Making a big spectacle to show off, but you always save your biggest stunt in a show for last.
Impossible.
Illuminate the Scene"? "Light the Stage"?
2R
Sorcery (U)
Spectacle R
Exile the top two cards of your library. Until the end of your next turn, you can play these cards.
"Everyone to their posts" (???) -- Judith. Probably something like "Places, everyone!" in English
You can play cards exiled with Illuminate the Scene, so any restriction would deny this card usability...

Reserved list fans are in decline, thats for sure. Mayority of Players want to RL go away.
To celebrate 25th anniversary wizards should make a pool, what to do with RL and WE, Players we should vote to get rid of IT.
If not immediately, then in 1 year time, not in five or ten, but in 1 year.
Just imagine how many duals & moxes were lost in recent nature disasters. Prices skyrocket right now, buyouts are real, market is flooded with fakes. And what are wizards doing? Nothing, because of some old list, that is not even considered legal in Europe. Ridiculous.
prowling serpopard was spoiled some time ago. Many people including myself thought that this meant that good counterspells were returning to standard. A lot of people even thought that this card could mean a counterspell reprint.
I'd like an ounce or two of whatever those people were on. Let's make it two.
Additionally MaRo has confirmed that counterspell will not be getting a reprint in ahmonket
Source? I don't doubt you, I just want to see the question and his response. If someone asked "Is Counterspell going to be in Amonkhet?" and his reply was anything other than a few paragraphs of laughter followed by the poo emoji, I'll be genuinely surprised.
is this just WoTC hating on control?
is this for hour of devastation where we do get good counterspells?
Alright, all joking aside, the running theory is that Amonkhet will be crammed with goodies for Selesnya 'slingers, then Hour of Devastation will give Grixis the spotlight. I'm trying to stifle my cynicism long enough to buy into that, but we blue mages have been crippled so badly that I can't remember how to cast it.
As for Counterspell ever being printed in Standard again... I'll eat a copy of each unplayable counterspell from the two blocks prior if C-spell is ever printed in a Modern-legal set.
(Oh, who am I kidding? It'll happen eventually. Probably a set or two after they print a one-mana artifact with "This can't be countered. Spells you control can't be countered. Whenever an opponent casts a blue spell, you may slap them across the face. If you don't, they lose 3 life, then slap them across the face anyway.")
There was a time when, after years of absence, Lightning Bolt was reprinted, and standard legal for a good few years. Now, creatures are more powerfull than ever, and blue color is in its weakest...
I expect these will be Instant and Sorcery only,
possibly even Sorcery only.
As such, I expect multiple Wrath and Time Walk cards.
I suggest you look up the definition and synonyms of Invocation.
I agree that they will be exclusively Sorceries - the definition of Invocation is not that relevant - look at the definition of expedition.
Lands makes sense for expeditions, as they are places you visit.
Invocations can be literally anything that isn't an artifact or planeswalker.
Just look on mtg cards that include invocate/invocation/invoker etc. they are mostly sorcery/instant, and few enchantments. Ockham's razor says HI!
Invocations doesn't sound like playing a creature spells at all. For creature theme it would need to sound like: Amonkhet Terrors or Amonkhet Beasts, (not Amonkhet Invocations).

Im not sure why not to think about banned cards. Bloodbraid elf is iconic to me, cruel ultimatum and heartbeat of springs too. Basicly any staple not reprinted recently (except tarmogoyf they can print it to death).

These are no-brainer. Basicly auto include.
These fits by flavour:
