the WotC staff is primarily made up of casuals. when you have casuals able to pick and choose cards to deem as 'too good' you get stupid **** like this. they made Fae a deck again, gave Zoo back their marquee card, and banned a card that didn't need to be banned (that sounds like Modern's entire gimmick).
this thread happens every set. sorry guy, I too liked Cawblade but you're never getting back Jace the Mind Sculptor and Squad Hawks, nor are you ever getting Path of Exile or Swords to Plowshares.
that said, you at least get Brimaz and he's a nice wall that makes chumps.
I'd like to point out that Brimaz is a little more burn resistant and a lot of white decks would run 8 precinct captain if they could.
Brimaz also makes dudes on the defense which is relevant considering he's got vigilance. oh, and he just generates the dudes when he swings, not when he connects. granted, they're swinging too which could be awkward.
I love this cat. <3 he's way, way better than almost every other white three drop in the format (aside from banisher priest, but let's face it, that's soft removal with an upside) and just brings the pain constantly.
I don't believe this is true. We all build form the same card pool and read the same articles and for the most part get the same information and build from that. This meta-dependent side board rule is a myth that you have been taught to believe. It's a lie.
This post is really silly and shows that you don't actually know what you're talking about. If you just jam 15 cards in your sideboard without thinking about your metagame you're a bad player and deserve to lose.
@ MetalMatan, why doesn't the list run the fourth Downfall? Just makes for too many 3 cost spells or what?
the guy's a dumbass. you should tell him that magic cards, much like his very-likely bitcoin wallet are subject to major fluctuations and have no guarantee of stability or obligation to be whatever price he pulls out of his ass.
as a very tangentially related sidenote, Standard is just like bitcoin mining at times; using a golden pickaxe to mine iron ore.
I would ask about those packs every time I see them sitting there, and just laugh in their faces as they straight faced say 23$ a pack.
what would be funnier; their confused faces at your disbelieving laughter, or their indignant attitude towards you for pointing out they just look that silly?

Jace, Memory Adept
that's clearly Jared Leto (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001467/), Requiem for a Dream era.
booze, complicated rules, and salty attitudes.
throw in blackjack and hookers and you've got yourself Mos Eisley. for wizards.

welcome to RG Xenatron meta.
Merciless Eviction and Planar Cleansing actually seem kinda okay if that deck continues to catch on.

also, would a singleton Whip of Erebos to recur Saruli Gatekeepers/get more life out of Gatekeepers be more cute or actually not completely awful?
