Stone Manifestation seems good, but it doesn't have a lot of synergy between the two halves. Why does it care about flying creatures when alive, but lands when dead? Also, it'd be clearer if the dismissal cost was just written out 4R, instead of referencing the mana cost. Mana cost can't change. 5/10
All In is just that. I mean, 8 mana is probably right for the effect, but I just don't imagine this card is very fun. Either it read "Win the game" or it's completely blank. Final Fortune does this to, but it's a lot more elegant and it came first. How many copies of FinalFortune does the game really need? 5/10
Void Destroyer3RB
Artifact Creature R
When Void Destroyer enters the battlefield, choose a number. Destroy all artifacts and creatures with converted mana cost equal to that number. Put a +1/+1 counter on Void Destroyer for each permanent destroyed this way.
3/3
Korlash, the Tyrant :2mana::symb::symb:
Planeswalker- Korlash
+3: Put target creature card from a graveyard onto the battlefield under your control. You lose life equal to its converted mana cost.
-3: All creatures get -1/-1 until end of turn for each Swamp you control.
-7: Search your library for any number for Swamps and put them onto the battlefield. Shuffle your library.
[3]
Your creature is Rare. Your creature's power and toughness must be 5/5, 5/6, 6/5 or 6/6. Your creature cannot have any keyword ability in it.
My other color is Blue:
Mindwrap Serpent2U
Creature Serpent R Derange- If Mindwrap Serpent would deal damage to a player, instead that player puts that many cards from the top of his or her library into his or her graveyard.
When you control no Islands, sacrifice Mindwrap Serpent. To control these creatures, Korlash would have to make the first exception to a lifetime of dogma.
5/5
Dryad Growth
Land Enchantment - Forest Aura U (Dryad Growth isn't a spell, has "t: Add G to your mana pool.", enters the battlefield attached to target land and is put into the graveyard if it is not attached to a land.)
Enchant Land
Enchanted land is a 2/2 green creature. It's still a land
Next: Another Land Creature/enchantment/artifact whatever.
What am I invisible over here? Seriously, this is the second time my card has been missed in one of these contests this week. Judges, REALLY try not to miss people's cards when you're judging.
Honestly didn't think your card was a submission, but an uncard joke. Sorry. That really wasn't what I was going for.
Obviously, there's been a lot of new cards to add in this over the past 5 years, and the deck has lost brainstorm. That said, the article is still true that this deck isn't actually Vintage playable for the sole fact that it's too complicated to play in an actual tournament. When you compress every decision in the game into a single turn, it just doesn't work. That said, when I'm bored, I love being able to goldfish with my old version of tendrils.
So that's what I'm going for here: the most consistent turn one kill deck possible in type 1 right now.
Gemstone Vein
Land U Gemstone Vein enters the battlefield with two mining counters on it. T: Add one mana of any color to your mana pool for each mining counter on Gemstone Vein, then remove a mining counter from Gemstone Vein.
If there are no mining counters on Gemstone Vein, sacrifice it.
All of the rest of these can produce way more than three mana.
Uplifting Myr 2
Artifact Creature U t: Target non-artifact creature gains flying and becomes an artifact in addition to its other types until end of turn.
1/1
Gilska, the Rebel WGG
Legendary Creature- Elf
First Strike
Sacrifice Gilska: Search through your library for a creature card with converted mana cost equal to the amount of mana in your mana pool. Reveal it and put it into your hand. Shuffle your library.
2/4
Ekatsim, Time Shuffler I mean, I guess it's not a super threatening planeswalker, but Planeswalkers should be about more than just their ultimate. The plus ability literally does nothing but fuel the ultimate. It also is pretty swingy on the second ability. Maybe if it hit a land you get to draw? That'd make it feel better than whiffing. 4/10
Nivtet, The Inventor (Mythic)
Cost: :3mana::symu::symr::symg:
Legendary Creature - Dragon
Flying
When Niv Intet deals damage to a player, you may pay 2U.
If you do, draw cards equal to the damage dealt.
5/5
Make a card with the ability " mana, exile this card from your graveyard: Do X."
I like it! It's a big, splashy timmy creature that would be bomby, but printable at uncommon. Unfortunately, this does not bode well for being boring 3/10
wingedcoyote
It's not flashy, but it's hardly boring. White getting back disenchant would actually be quite good in the right environment. 3/10
daiches
Sure, it's not a card that I'm happy to play in limited, but it's a card I almost certainly always would, especially in blue. In a CMC matters block or some goofy format, it could find a good home. 4/10
RyuumiGaroukuni
This isn't boring as much as INSANELY BROKEN. Two mana timetwister? Yes please! 1/10
Eskimo_Rage
That's pretty boring. And certainly abusive. But it's undercosted and it would almost certainly never see print. Strike me as more of an UN-card 7/10
Megiddo
Pretty dull. Grinds combat to a halt, would likely see play in limited. An extremely boring card 9/10
bloodyspasm
This guy seems good/great. He's like a black wild mongrel. Not boring in the least. 2/10 Your format seems interesting, but expensive. Not something I'm likely to ever actually try. Points for effort. 4/10
Enoch
Puns. Love it! Good flavor, almost definitely going to grind the game to a halt. And yet it seems almost printable. Would have been more elegant as just "T: Each player reveals the top three cards of their library. Players exile two of those cards, then puts the other card into their hand.9/10
Boing
This is two mana, repeatable land destruction. Broken does not equal boring. 1/10
JonFuryZacharias
True, it only gives you what you've got, but a cycle of fetchable reflecting pools is still pretty neat. A fine way to implement dual land types without pushing them too hard. But that's not boring 3/10
Oculus
Card's pretty bad. On the other hand, it could certainly see have its uses and it has a definite self destruct time. Tangle Wire is boring, but it's far worse than this because it locks down creatures. 8/10
Timothy, Mimeslayer
This card is vanilla, but it's not boring! It's actually a really good limited combat trick and Johnny fuel with persist guys and other fun with +1/+1 counters. 2/10
Summon_Legend
This has JOHNNY BUILD AROUND ME printed all over it. This card has a lot of uses, and very few of them are dull. 1/10
Megiddo and Enoch had extremely boring cards. Border Patrol was brutal in limited, but combining SDT and Temple Bell is a recipe for a terrible game.
Urza, the Betrayer4:symu::symu:BB
Planeswalker- Urza M
+4: Gain control of target permanent.
-5: Take an extra turn after this one.
-12: Put your library into your hand. You gain an emblem with "You can't draw cards".
[7]
Lightning-Peak Commando is good, but it suffers from the tokens not fitting white. If you aren't pay red, why are you getting goblin tokens instead of soldier tokens? Nitpick, but still. 7/10
Move the Bodies XB
Sorcery U
Exile X target creature cards in a single graveyard. Search your library for up to X creature cards and put them into your graveyard. Then shuffle your library.
Does the creature have to work better just with itself, or just a creature that's better the more copies of it in play?
